that's ok, they supply pedals geared to spin it, you only have to pedal/spool a turbo this size to about 60,000rpm

turbo is not an option. here is why.
In a 2 cycle motor, the intake and exhaust ports are open simultaneously, meaning no boost can really me made in the cylinder by a 'turbo'. If it was a flathead 4stroke, then no problem. A tuned pipe has a supercharging effect on a 2stroke as the sonic pulse pushes premix back in the cylinder right before it closes and is combusted. hence, getting on the pipe is where the power is at. A turbo would just blow premix out of the motor, unless of course you had poppet-style exhaust valves etc... Hope that helps.

then explain all the turbo 2 stroke Banshees and snowmobiles, it can be done, no one currently makes a turbo small enough for this motor that I know of. there are rumors of turbos for 50-70cc mopeds coming out, maybe that will become a possibility

they don't use reeds, they use powervalves, that is how they put a turbo on it.
you need a way to keep the boost in the cylinder, reeds are not strong enough to do this
