Robert is absoutlely right, they were invented in WWII so the paratroopers could land further from the enemy and ride to them. Thanks Robert!

Wow other then the weird front fender, seat pad, and silencer I'm impressed but are those cag brake handle assemblies? They could have also improved the throttle assembly but again not bad they are getting better. I still want to hear some performance statistics on track please not up and down the block.

I was going to race one at Denton but the race was cancelled...I think you'll see at least one at Arizona. I do so like the welds, they are a great improvement...the quality is a giant leap.

that fender soed not go wit dhat bike! its juss sooooo off by design..the tp looks kinda weird..but atleast theyre putting their own touch on things.. maybe after gettting some more experience building theese bikes.. and maybe if they can get their hands on some better materials..might dey match the italians wit their own creation..

only time will tell..

Like I mentioned before it's a good looking bike but still needs alot of improvments. They need to toss the cag brake assembly, give you at least the China performance slicks instead of the treaded plastic/rubber tires, and do something with that seat pad. It will also look better with h/f front fender design not a Blata B1 copy fender. They are getting better and like All Motor said only time will tell once they decide to use better materials. I think it's over priced though but we still want performance results

I would guess that Robert will comment on the tires when he does the review. I seem to remember reading that the 50cc Z1 is shipping with some type of slick.

Has anyone actually used the "high end" chinese slicks?

The 50cc Z1 I received did not come with slicks. Maybe the newer ones are, but not mine.

i have a couple pair of em. didn't get to put them to the limit yet, but from the few laps i took, they grabbed pretty good. but they're barely even broken in yet, so that's a pretty shoddy review! one thing though is that they're EXTREMELY soft! softer than i ever thought a tire could be.
