I bought this chopper for $50 bucks, i guess the guy was filling it up with gas and dropped a match or cig on spilt gas and caught the side of the gas tank and the wiring harness on fire. Alot of the wiring was melted and trashed, i ordered a new harness for it and got most of it hooked up where its supposed to go and i get power to most parts including the headlight and gear indicator. The issue im having now is that before i hooked up the harness i could get the motor to turn over by shorting the starter silenoid with a screw driver but now when i try it the starter just hummms and so i took it apart and check it out and everything looks good, springs are stuff holding the magnets to the shaft and the engine turns freely with a socket, just wont turn over... even if i apply power directly to the starter. Any Suggestions??
