WANTED: X6 Rims, Tires and Tubes needed for X7 with KX-80 engine
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site as of yesterday. I have an almost complete X7 project that I haven't worked on in a year but now I'm back at it and i'm super close to being finished. I was able to stuff a KX-80 dirt bike engine into the frame of the X7 along with getting both front and rear breaks to work as well. It has been ridable for over a year now but I'm having to do a few tweeks on it before it's ready to be powder coated and the new plastics put on. I need the bigger rimes and tires cause as of right now gears 1-5 are pretty much useless. I'm adding a Pingel shifter this coming weekend so I can keep my feet on the back pegs for a more agressive seating position. I'm guessing top speed is around 40-50 MPH now. Kinda hard to judge when you're only a foot off the ground. I've already bought the biggest front and smallest rear sprockets they make but it's still not cutting it. So unless I spend a ton of money and have a fab shop make one-off sprockets, my only other option is bigger rims and tires. So if anyone has the 10" rims and the 90 front/145 rear tires I want to buy them ASAP..... as long as the price is fair of course.
