what do you guys think? i think the back wheels need to be smaller. i just spent 250 dollars on the rear axle and machined spacers and keyways i plan to start on my motor now thought i would start a build thread im new to this stuff .thanks for any comments.

Go kart tires on the back, right? Very cool looking, hope to see a great power plant for it~! Should think about a water cooled engine....gives you more power to drift around.

well that was the plan at first guys a water cooled but i was told that the air cooled hp motor would give me more bottom end i dont want speed i just want torque what do you guys think yes they are go kart wheels but the rear are too big i think

id go with a kx65 engine

Id keep the rear tires/axle set up and find some go kart slicks for the front. Imagine drifting that thing around the turns

its funny you say that i bought a kx 65 about 2 weeks ago for this project but it aint going i have (had) an extra quad frame for it to try it out on i made brackets bent tubing everything you can think of i even cut the frame in half and extended it not going to happenthe atleast not with the same body it would work but would look dumb as hell i should have taken pics little 65 motor is a bit bigger than you think im looking for another quad like a small four stroke frame like a kids size and go back withe the same tire and wheel setup with the 65 motor

yep thet is the plan haha actualy the front wheels and tires are off a kart i will be getting new ones tho nice and shiney ones these are to just to see how it looks and i like it need a bit smaller ones on the back tho

well im now redoing the quad with a buttload of mods to get the pro jet pipe to fit i had to fab a removeable seat rest bracket and relocate the shock mount and pipe mount bracket im using bmx pegs to reduce weight and they dont look too bad if i say so my self. lime green with flakes . all stainless harware is next .
