3hp snowblower motor for pocket bike

i have this 2 cycle tecumseh 3hp motor from my old snowblower. it works great. just curious about if it will work for a pocket bike. my concern is that there is no needles or a adjustable throttle on it. on the snowblower it just runs fixed speed. is there a way to make this work or is there a carb upgrade available for engines like this?

Techumseh makes a pumper carb on the Techumseh TC210 I beleive...That engine is 3 hp aswell and will work with the engine angled into a few different positions to fit....

The carb on your engine probably has a spring that holds the throttle flapper wide open but to hook up a throttle to it would be crazy as you would have to full throttle it to get it to idle and basically work the throttle backwards which is mega dangerous if you lose hand control or fall off......

yes, it will work. im not too sure of the performance, though.

someone from another forum has mounted several industrial 2-stroke on go karts, here is a picture of one of his karts.

post some pics of the engine you have. has to have a keyed shaft.
