Side Gapping Spark Plugs

I have just found reference to side gapping spark plugs.

Have not come across it on this forum before but I will copy the info for anyone who has an opinion.

Let us know what ya think, cant hurt to try it, its only 1 plug.

Re: Side Gapping Spark Plugs

tried it, and yes it make a slight boost in lowend, and more cleaner full burn as shown by my lack of carbon swirls on my piston. now really this only really makes sense on angle plug motors and you have to index the plug to make this actually work properly. id take a splitfire over that anyday

Re: Side Gapping Spark Plugs

Good to know. Was mainly looking for stuff for the 110cc 4 stroke when I found this. Not too many different variations for the Torch A7TC plug.

I assumed indexing would be in order and if I am not mistaken the plug is an angled plug.
