Hey had a quick question. I have an MX650, long story, it was a bought roller, thought this chassis would get an 1800w brushless system, but plans changed. I have a left over $20 Chinese computer/throttle. I put in a 500 w motor I had laying around. I AM NOT LOOKING TO SPEND ANY MONEY ON THIS. My question is, What is the third "small gauge" wire in the three wire connector from the computer to the wire connector/power switch?? Then that goes to the 4 pin 2 wire battery connector. Seems useless but last time I tried to just bolt this computer in a different razor product it didnt work.
Don't even mention the "Chinese computer", only looking for the answer to the "third wire". I know these computers are hit and miss, I haven't even hooked it up, just wondering wat that wire is/does? I can post pics if need be.
Ah, ok. Mostly curious because the Chinese computer doesn't have that third wire but obviously the old computer does. I'm just trying to slap this thing together to sell it. Just get a running bike and let somebody else put batteries in it. I have two others, I don't need three. LOL. Thanks guys
right on. over volting by adding an extra battery then going a few teeth smaller on the motor so it can build RPMs is the best bang for your buck mod on the 500s and 650s
