Re: Polini Watercooled - Does this clutch look right_?

This Post i have Read since a couple of days ago... And i wonder that the people there also talk about Banshee with steel frame..

And no--we have not wrong informations. We have a lot of banshees here--and all them have aluminium frames. I think you realy try a magnet on the Frame. The magnet maybe show a little bit reaction but this happens about the poor quality of the chineese alloy.

Take a simple look on the weldings on the Banshee frames... Typical welding "lines" for aluminium. You dont have this weldings on steel Frames...

Re: Polini Watercooled - Does this clutch look right_?

Well, I never checked mine with a magnet, but I guess I will have to now, lol. I would be very happy if it is alum/chrome, I bought mine as a basket case and rebuilt the top end and put an ADA Racing billet alum 15:1 head on it.
Holy Crap, I think your right, my big magnet does not stick to the frame, but it does on the front forks, so it must be alum. Never would have guess that, lol.

Wow! I never knew. Is the grc gp just as heavy then? I always thought that was the flaw with the banshee, the weight because it was steel.

Thanks guys for pointing that out, because it's made in China I figured they would be to Cheap to make an alum frame.
