Project "3-3-3"Triple Reverse Trike Build-up Build #3

Here's the third and final build to this triple reverse trike projects....

It started it's life as a Razor electric quad.....

It wasnt planned this way but funny how it worked out....LOL

This thing is yet another garbage find....Plans were to use the frontend for a pocket barstool racer but after looking at it for a lil bit became the idea for the third reverse trike buillds...

This one cannot be made streetlegal so this one is gonna become a alky huffing 3hp snow thrower engine belting out 7hp mini reverse trike drifter to compliment my Razor pr200 mini trike of death build with alky burning Techumseh TC300 belting out the same 7hp......

Re: Project "3-3-3"Triple Reverse Trike Build-up Build #3

Today I was going through some stuff and ran across this thing....I forgot I had bought it.....Its an Electra 36v Electric Mini Harley,,,,,,,,

I got this thing for $20 bux with a 36v motor and 3 high quality batteries that are all 100% good and the old owner paid $75 bux each for....LOL...

Best part is I forgot I also got an extra unused dual rearwheel setup brand new in the box too and it so happens one half of the dual rearwheel assembly with the drive sprocket is the same front wheel disc brake setup as the gas powered miniquads come with so thats a $75.00 savings right there.Alls I have to do is swap the sprockets for brake discs...LOL

Seeings I was in a bind on where to find cheap wheel combos that have disc brakes so I can do a frontend disc brake modification to the Reverse Minitrike the Mini Harley will work aces and serv a multitude of purposes parted into pieces....LOL

Plans are to chop out the backbone and back half the rear section of the frame by 12" without the swingarm then instead of using the heavily modified 3hp snowthrower engine with HL138 Tillotson clone pumper carb I plan on using a modified 212cc Predator engine with 3D Industries manual clutch to turn it into a sikk lil holeshot drifter machine that wont need PVC on the rear tire to spin the tire to drift....LOL

Plans were to turn the mini harley into a 60v motor overvolted to 72volts stretched electric mini dragbike but today I felt it needed to serve a higher purpose for this project..The rest of the carcass will go to really good use as another homemade stand-up scooter.........LOL

Re: Project "3-3-3"Triple Reverse Trike Build-up Build #3

Somehow...I forgot to add these pictures....LOL

Heres how the wheels on a dual wheel mini harley lays out in the pics below...

Also pictured below are the two couplers used to link both rear wheels together..

I also took the acetylene tirch heated up tge hubs to liquify the chinese loctite and the screws easily came out..............

Bearings were removed too because Im going with better quality bearings on all 3 wheels........

Another thing to note is the other 2 tires have rims that can be drilled for a sprocket then the rear drum brake lhub can be removed and a set of disc brake adapters can be screwed on....

On some pictures you can see the fixture I use to sucessfully drill the holes perfectly every time..

The 6" front wheel from the Electra mini harley will become the rear wheel for the mini drift trike ...

It will also be drilled so it can have two drive chains coming off the jackshaft to transfer the fierce power of the modified Predator engine Im installing to both sides of the rear rim evenly lol..........

Last picture shows the culmination of how its gonna be melded........Theres gonna be a stretched rear swingarm too........

Right now Im working out the length detail to get a nice drift arc without having to oversteer,,,...
