Re: Ugly quad

The head does say if you know where to look...............Find a CM3 # on the top of the black cylnder on the footshifter side of the engine up by the carb intake where its bolted to the head............

It should say either 48cm3/72cm3 or 107cm3........Good Luck with the ugly quad!!!!

Re: Ugly quad

It's probably a 50cc Honda clone auto trans., that thing is pretty small for a 110cc clone engine. Is your rear brake a lever or foot pedal?? With that narrow wheel base & side to side, you would be on 2 wheels going a corner, lol. EDIT: You might be able to bolt a 110cc in that frame, I would want a 4 speed manual trans, but don't know if the frame will be in the way of the engine in front or on the side including a foot brake. The 50 & 70cc clone engs. have different cases than the 90, 100, 110, I believe and maybe different spaced frame mounts, CAM2 would know. On eBay, seen a lot of cheap 110cc complete engines for as little as $235 shipped. My 125cc four wheel ATV w/ auto trans and reverse, is gutless, at low speeds, from a dead stop won't make it up my 6ft long ramps at a 20 degree angle, you get near the top and it sits there with the eng revving and the clutch slipping, cause it is a big centrifical clutch, once your rolling it's ok.
