Re: Help!!! (gp-rsr)
The engine mix ratio doesnt rly matter, just keep it 50:1. the manual does say 25:1 for the first few tank fills which is okay but...just personal choice. when i ordered my first cag a few years bak from mini pocket rockets, it sucked. they are cheaply made bikes to begin with, and the distributor should quality check all bikes. MINI POCKET ROCKETS.COM DOES NOT QUALITY CHECK THEIR BIKES. before you even start the bike, a full check should be done on all nuts and bolts, tire pressures, test the brakes and make sure the throttle returns well. if anything seems out of place or misfunctioning, either have a mechanical person take a look at it, or complain to the distributor immedietly. these bikes are very fast and things go wrong very fast. ive had the chains fall off, brakes lock up, handlebars come loose, fuel line leak onto the hot exhaust...the bikes can be very fast and fun if all proper preventative maintainence is taken. I reccomend LOC-TITE on all screws and bolts without lockwashers on them, keep an eye on chain tension at all times (bend over and check it at a stop sign) Ive ridden my Cag for hundreds of miles and love it, but again their cheaply made so always do a quick go-thru before riding. they do a solid 35mph out of the box with no upgrades.
