if you mean trouble like the police then yes they love to impound pocket bikes and RC cars so be careful and ask befor you ride ask the owner of the biz not the employees as long as you asked to use the parking lot in my experience everything will be cool

Any trouble.?...LOL .I think Kitty summed it up in a quick short concise explaination but heres mine based on experience...LOL

Youll end up with up to 1500.00 for each bike especially if your pocketbikes are loud enough to get the noise scofflaw..Theres a possibility you wont be riding off after that too because it will be impounded.

I thought it would be cool to take my x15 dragbike on one of the 9/11 memorial rides from Long island into the city.On the way in they blue tape your plate so the redlight cameras cant give you tickets out of spite so I was golden as the golden gooses egg.....LOL

All was good riding in in one giant pack of bikes but on the way home there is no organized wolfpack back...Its every man for himself after that......

Me and my buddy who was riding my DRZ650 got ambushed at 2am coming out of the tunnel...........

Because I had a motorcycle license the judge showed lienency on me.No ins.no reg, masked plate, illegal plate, manufactured plate,no inspection speeding in the tunnel and a noise violation.$1700.00 fine +4 points on my license.....

My friend got speeding in the tunnel masked plate and riding w/o motorcycle license or permit...........That bike was legit. He paid $550+6pts.After that it was 4 nuts on two wheels for the ride home with my buddy riding beotch....LOL

Oh and if you go to an industrial area get permission because some of those cameras you see are linked to a central command that's monitored 24/7.Chances are youll be seeing trouble in that case too.A trespassing charge may incur if theres a warning sign displayed so look carefully and don't rip down the sign either...That's another charge and youll probably end up at Beaver Dam Park in Queens doing community service for a few weekends.....LOL.Dont ask........LOL

It's against the rules of the Forum to talk about riding pocket bikes on the street...

with that said

if a cop sees you and your on the street with a pocket bike it's getting impounded only a fool whould do it cars and trucks can't see you some of the big X bikes can be street legal but for the most part pocket bikes should be kept to parking lots loops private roads and gated communities...

On the way in it was organized. We started at exit 73 on the LIE and stipped at Exit 43 to meet up with the others then we all rode in with like 500 bikes.

The cops were blocking the intersections to allow us fluid motion all the way in.

The tunnel was the Battery tunnel and it was local 78th precinct radioed in by the tunnel worker on duty.........

It really doesnt matter how and where youre gonna ride,,public roads are publc roads just as private property is as stated plain and simple and theres rules to follow..

My X18 was owned by a member here from brooklyn. He bought it brand new.his friend crashed it into a car that didnt see him and he got a boatload of trouble and so did the kid that owned it.I got it for a hundred bux and he paid over $700.00 for it 40 days prior..

If youre the type that has to see it to believe it the question is basically moot.......

Thats funny because Ive been banned almost for life from this site too for posting vids riding in the street without a helmet..

Same kind of vids you have posted on here...LOL..LOL..

Idaho may have a no helmet law but this forum doesn't recognize those laws being these are pocketbikes and mainly oriented towards kids but the rules of the forum none-the-less being kids are very impressionable...LOL

I live in a trailer park Loop and there is no helmet law in Idaho so we get away with it as long as your over 18 the police do come back here and tell us to knock it off from time to time they do like to sit out around the corner and wait for us to try to venture out to the open road lol

Yeah but my main point was kids are too lazy to read these days and if they do they only understand so much if they cant understand a persons writing dialect..Thats why most prefer pictures and live life through utube. They call it shortcutting /a life hack etc..I call it pure laziness.

At any type of racing tracks in Idaho I guess they don't wear safety gear or make you wear safety gear at all?

If all technology ceased to function 80% of todays kids cant even read a dial clock or understand cursive language but they can mimic what they see on utube and build from it....That's quite sad.

It would make it ok to do so if this was put under"Whats the Law" part of the forum.Thats the only part that allows this type of discussion.

I get that and anyone ridding needs to check there local and state laws befor ridding any powerd machine...

here is a short list of the things the police will tell you or write you a ticket for...

seat to low
no lights
tires not *** approved
noise over a certain DB (yes they have meters)

there are other things they can find wrong with it as well but these are the easy ones every cop knows and has so called rights to impound...

then they are going to stack tickets...

failer to stop or signal or both
reckless driving
reckless endangerment (you get this one for ridding on the sidewalks)
speeding ( even if your not )
felony eluding ( you get this one if you don't stop the instant they light you up )

all this on top of the normal stuff

no registration
no licence plate
no insurance

then they check to see if your endorsed for a motercycle and your license is valid...

all this kind of talk most of time can lead a guy to getting slapped with a verbal assault 4 of a law officer as well lol...

now the fun part so yes I understand most states say if it's under 50cc and bla bla bla but they are still going to take it away so you have to goto cort and try to get it back.

that's kind of the legal idea why you don't want to ride on public roads on top of the hole getting run over or hit by a car problem

if you want to ride on the road it's best to get a street legal motorcycle or scooter and keep the pocket bikes for off road use onley
