Help with Bike ID

Not the best photo but the seller claims it has a Polini WC engine. Looks like a Blata 2.6 to me? He is asking $700 which I know is too much but Any help would making ID would be great before I make the drive to look at it. Thanks

If its real it would be a Blata Elite10 series...Ask for them to take a pic of the top fork clamp and the pullstarter...

Top clamp should say Blata and the pullstarter Polini Motori

Pretty much worth the $700.00 if it is real..Retail was like $2800.00

Anything in particular to look for on the engine for wear? Do I need to check the fluid in the cooling system and belts/,pumps etc?

Look in the overflow bottle.....If it looks gacked up like compression has been getting into the water it most likely has a bad head gasket..

Check the waterpump to see if its seized too..

Make sure it has compression..

Physically roll it around on the ground checking the brakes also making sure the neck bearings and clutch are good,,

A bike that looks that clean and is a current picture should fire up no problem if it was fully drained before being stored away..

Bring fuel..94/95 octane mixed to 50:1...They sell 94/95 octane in a can already mixed at either Lowes or home depot and sold by VP racing fuel;-Husqvarna too...

Elite 10 comes both watercooled and aircooled Im pretty sure seeings ive seen them both ways.

Blata Eite 11 has a more triangulated shaped swingarm and it cant be am Elite13 because that's a half fairing model...

Yeah..Youre right...We had a member here that bought a 10 that was liquid cooled but was a later model built bike that had the Blata Elite 11 engine on it....

The Elite 11 first came out in 1994...........

Yes, I believe its an E13, 40cc air cooled Blata, something like 36mm bore x 39mm stroke. probably a 14mm Dell 'Orto SHA carb.

Hi,

Old bikes cant find manuals in English so Czech may have to do. Hopefully will help see enclosure and let me know if you need anything else. The SHA carbie was generally used on the 3 port engines but its possible to have on a 5 port air or water cooled cylinder as you can see on the Elite 13 engine jpeg. SHA carbie has part number 120.002.00.
