Quick action throttle

I want to put a quick action throttle on my GRC rsr. I see plenty of ones on eBay for around 10-20. Will any of these work? My pasini has a domino one on but their double the price

Original Domino with two new grips costs 36€ in Europe, I don't know the prices in USA but you can't destroy them and they are worth every penny.

Get your kick with 2 stroke mix

My domino one has infact split, so not entirely unbreakable 😂 I figured as long as i get a CNC one not a cheap plastic one the quality should be similar. Which ratio do I need 2.2?

Re: Quick action throttle

On my GRC-GP avatar bike I bought a $10 billet alum throttle and 90 degree dirt bike cable $8. On eBay there is a lot of stuff, don't know if permile77 is still an eBay seller. Look under China dirt bikes throttles, or pocket bike throttles.

Re: Quick action throttle

Twist throttles are pretty cheap if you know where to shop[eBay/Amazon] and eventually no matter what theyre called unless its made out of titanium its gonna break...Especially if the bike gets crashed or dropped badly....

If the nylon plastic twister broke it can be easily replaced with another 1/4 turn plastic twister....If the housing broke replace the whole thing

I have a Domino throttle on my 1999 Polini 910...Its not ultra pretty but its still working as it should..Its also likely that on most of my Japanese made MX bikes and motorcycles youll find theyre made by Domino too

Domino makes about a zillion different designs for a lot of different model vehicles throughout the years...

Ive used the cheap $10 billet aluminum one from ebay too and alls Ill say is it took way to much mods and extra work to smooth out the whole thing for any type of useage and comfort also didn't roll or snap back as fast as a nylon plastic twister does because its bored smooth whereas quality nylon plastic twisters have striation grooves inside the tube to limit the amount of bar contact that lessens friction...

Re: Quick action throttle

I use silicone grease on the handle bar where it rides, it depends on the spring tension of the carb piston on how fast it returns. I crank my throttle back by hand, which is different than letting it snap back.
