Dont just get on your bike and ride it..........get a good wrench and socket set /screwdrivers/allenwrenches and some good wrenching skills...........When it comes;-take off kickstand and remove both lower fairings and go put them somewhere safe.........and put kickstand back on

For the first week youll be fiddling with it;-adjusting it and wanting to make to go faster.......................

Plus these bikes dont have lube in the cables and the swingarm shock bushings and rear brake pedal pivot.............

The engine mounts will need to be tightened real good before even riding and the shifter and kickstarter need better grade hardware screws and loctite....

The clutch adjust area is gonna need disassembly/deburring and lubing for it to work buttery smooth.........it will not smooth out and wear in over time;-it will just wear out................and break

Take the time to learn about your bike and service it before you hop on and ride.......................Or youll be back asking where to get hardware and such...........................

Now the answer to your question is this.................Get Castrol 4T 4 Stroke 10w/40 motorcycle oil................Get 3 quarts because youre gonna be changing the oil alot....................Drain oil when you first get bike from the proper drain screw..............Dont remove the diagonal plug!!!!!!!!...Remove the 11/16 / 17mm cap on the engine bottom on same side as the filler plug.......

Drain out the fish oil in the crank that comes with the bike....Fill bike with half a quart.......Stand bike up level and off of kickstandstand ;-level and check stick.....Dont Check oil with bike leaning!!!!!!!!!!In the summer months keep the oil to the lower part of the crosshatches in the stick and in the cooler months a little higher..............................Dont use more than 65%of the quart ever...........Overfilling the crankcase will cause trans misshifts and clutch slip aswell as a slipping kickstarter.........................Peace

Thats a big yes.........Its a 110cc bike..........NY law says for it to be classified as moped status it cant be any bigger than a 50cc engine...50cc mopeds dont require insurance but do require a plate and the rider to be 16 or over.

Thats a 110cc bike..........so a motorcycle endorsement is required and so is insurance and a helmet.........I pay $272/yr each for insurance on mine.

Theres no way to say its a 50cc either..........The vin#'s are traceable back to the real description in the database.....A couple of years ago you could of gotten away with it but not now......

The bike has to be totally reworked as far as lighting and dash instrumentation;-the gauge doesnt have an odometer so youre gonna have to get one for inspection records;-yes these things need to be inspected also.....NY doesnt consider the blinkers and bulbs to be dotk approved....youre gonna need led blinker mirrors........led bulbs in the turnsignal housings or led addons.....and brighter taillight brake light bulb.....and the headlight has to be made brighter

I have a X-15 my bike came headlight only and i added all the lighting and rewired the whole bike myself with the addition of a digital dash with odometer readout............................Peace

Cam does a 4-stroke need motor oil?

#12 · (Edited)
4 stroke gas automobiles and gas trucks use motor oil .................plus any gas engine without an internal wet clutch

4 stroke motorcycles use 4 Stroke motorcycle engine oil............they have wetclutches

4 stroke briggs engines use motor oil ........................they dont have internal wetclutches

2 stroke pocketbike engines use premix oil only

2 stroke dirtbikes uses both premix and wetclutch compatable gear oil or the same 4 stroke motorcycle wetclutch oil depending on year..........................

You can use 4 stroke motorcycle oil in a car/ gas.truck engine;- but you cant use car oil in a motorcycle..The motorcycle 4 stroke engine oil is better for cars than car oils............

My Mazda RX-7 rotary racing engine uses the premix below plus regular motor oil............................................

I hope this clears up the question added to X18's funny answer...............................Peace

R&S Strauss has 4 stroke motorcycle oil;-Pep Boys also.....its on the same shelf as the 2 stroke premix oils and the greases................You can get that other oil its good too...but find it in america

No you cannot put super gas into it unless you put a 24mm carb and jet it to run on it;-and run it on it always.;-just use 93 octane............Peace

yes any four stroke motor oil should be fine :)

#23 ·
any 4 stroke motorcycle oil NON-synthetic for break in , after break in synthetic is optional but the best, no dont use 2 stroke oil thats for 2 strokes theres a differencemarceloand dont listen to anyone who tells you to use 2 stroke oil they obviously dont know what there talking about good luck  also its a good idea to get rid of the junk spark plug get a ngk from an auto parts store iridium is cr7hix and regular is c7hsa

Yep chain lube is good :)

#29 ·
Chain lube is better than oil because it is a lube that sticks to the chain and doesnt dissipate like regular oils and wd-40.It helps to keep the chain lubed to prevent wear between the links and to keep moisture from creeping in and rusting up the links and it keeps out dirt from grinding the chain apart.........

It helps keep the chain running cooler and friction free;it makes the chain run quieter..................................

I also use the chain lube to lube up the throttle and clutch cables;-the choke cable too.........Peace
