Thanks Epr! How you been?
Yes definitely been a struggle! I had to go back and re-do rear shock setup..
I put on a shorter dogbone. It jacked the rear of the bike. Up so high I felt like. I was sitting in the nose bleed section. Lolol
So I re-did the top mount and lowered it back down like in previous pics.

Re: Yep still at it!

Same thing happened to me on my X18 when I put a 6" real rear shock on it. Stock is 5", that 1" raised the rear of the bike 4+ inches, so I had to make an upper mount bracket to let the top shock mount to go higher. So much better than a China shock, lol.

The bike looks great swheels..Im glad it had favorable results...

IMHO I feel it would be foolish not to make it a street legal daily driver now at this point...

Thank you Cam2 and Epr once again....
As for street legal. Cam these people are Crazy drivers. I thought NYC was bad. These fools are clueless down here! I'd be dead in a month!
Luckily for me the private community I live in. When or if I get the urge. I can go for a little spin. Withouth worrying getting tookin out or the law even though we have security.
If the overall finish is desirable. Then the other one I will try to make it street legal. Since I have another set of 15inch rims from this build. Plus another 250cc motor I can use.
If I do decided to do the 2nd one. It should go much easier and faster. Since I made certain mistakes I have learned from "so far". Lol

This is what I did for the upper shock mount. Its not final but I thought it was better for me.
I will have to do some welding. But also set it up so I can use shims/ spacers. To raise or lower the rear.
Also started setting up the rear brakes. I'm considering making my onlwn rear disc brake mount.
I am really trying to use less specialty tools as possible. So I think I'm gonna order the rear brake caliper mount. That is the oem mount for this swingarm. Then modify if I have to.

Theres crazy drivers everywhere these days....Ive had 3 friends bite the bullet in last 3 years....All the other drivers fault...2 were texting 1 was high...

I was thinking more about the value in the end...even if you don't plate it if its alteast titled it raises the value...Bought a CRF450 for $2000..made it street legal with cheap ebay LEDS got it titled and sold it for $3800.00

On one of my old Gixxers that my ex and my friends used to ride I just took some heim joints nuts and 1/2" round tube and made some quick ride height adjusters so I wasnt swapping the dogbones back n forth.......

In your case something similar could help you dial-in ride height to a tee.....

Keep up the killer work swheels...

Thanks Cam2, I was thinking about adjustable dogbones.
Yes crazy drivers everywhere but some of these drivers here. Seem like a real special kinda crazy.
I do have another one of these exact models. I was gonna use it for spare parts. Might change my mind and build it for street.
