The X18 is one of the lightest and fastest Super Pocket X bikes. Looks like you need a tank and seat body parts, then you can build a Rat Bike. Body parts if you can find them are worth more than the bike, if you can find them. Here is my X18 with the lower body cut off.

On one of my X18's I bought it without a body.I turned it into a street fighter and i used a tank n tailpiece from an X1 Ninja 2 stroke midbike.

It wasnt a plug n play install either..

I had to shorten then scorpion tail the rear frame section so the rear tail section was rock solid plus fit under the tail piece.

Then I had to trim the gastank cover to fit with a hacksaw blade then filing n sanding the cut edge smooth.

You can try finding an X7 tail and tank cover seeings the X7 is the X18's predecessor.A tailpiece from a CBR250 will work pretty good too but youre gonna need to make a platform for the seat.....

Good Luck

Re: Bambams pocket bike

I would start by looking on eBay. Search X18 Super Pocket Bike Parts or Body Parts. Then search X7 pocket bike parts, see what shows up. I have seen X7 gas tanks and tank covers around $50 each, they know the parts are hard to find and some people get greedy. You can make an X7 fairing fit on it, if you could find one, but it will cost hundreds of dollars to replace it all. I can't see a rear brake caliper. Have you tried to start it??

Another worthwhile option would be to supermoto it out with a CRF dirtbike setup on it..

The tank is the only variable and the best option would be something like a CBR250

To make it faster you need to modify the exhaust can to eliminate the baffle partition also choke-off tubes then wrap the exhaust pipe with headder wrap so the gasses stay super heated and flow out of the muffler faster, buy a blue anodized aluminum cdi and hp coil with wire combo deal,Afro style hp airfilter and a 22mm carb with a jet kit assortment then mod the intake to match.

Theres also a headbreather mod that can be done to powersuck the heat from the head to keep the valves cooler so you can ride longer before the engine starts stressing and losing its chug.

An oil cooler helps alot too.

Running it on lighter weight full synthetic oil helps aswell.I do a 60/40 blend of Amsoil 5w20 motorcycle synthetic and Castrol 10/w40 conventional motorcycle engine oil.

Heres an option for a speedo in the lower link posted below..On my X15 I used a Trailtech Vapor..It was almost $200.00.I also had a VR1 rearview mirror camera.
