Where can I purchase a water cooled replica

Been searching the internet for a new water cooled replica bike. Does anyone know any company out there in the states selling them? I use to have a c-1 replica over 10 years ago that I bought on eBay brand new. But for some reason I can’t find anyone that has any replicas in stock. Thanks

Re: Where can I purchase a water cooled replica

Are they still in business?? That's who I bought my 50cc C1 from. The water pump failed and had to take the whole engine apart. At first I thought it was the cyld & piston, the base gasket was sucking air making it run bad. From Tsunami I ordered a new 39.5mm 50cc cyld, when I got it it was bored to 40mm somehow, they gave it to me along with the new head. I used a 40mm Banshee Sho piston and ring with the 40mm C1 cyld, fit like a glove, but it was .030" to tall, a few small mods to clear the compression cap and I made it work, so the compression is killer. I used SKF C3 20,000 RPM crank bearings and good seals, the new pump shaft has SKF bearing and a Dupont red silicone shaft seal. First Class, lol. Done think they make them anymore. I have a 50cc Banshee Sho also. Under my EPR click Garage and you will see a bunch of bikes. Going to sell some this summer, parts too.

It doesn’t seem like they are still in business. Either their website is down or it doesn’t exist any longer.

Why do you want to get a replica, a few bugs more and you can ride a bike like blata, grc, dm and so on. Ive seen a grc rc 40 with 6.2 polini w/c engine for 900$ on facebook in the usa

Re: Where can I purchase a water cooled replica

Russ, I would rather have a China Polini engine than a Blata. The B water pump design Sucks. They put the pump inside the cases, and you have to remove the engine and split the cases to fix a leaky seal or frozen shaft bearings, but before that the engine fills up with water and destroys the whole engine. The pump shaft and O ring drive is under the right engine cover so you can see if its turn while sitting or riding. Pavel Blata changed the pump design later so a clip is remove and you can slide the pump out of the cases. The water flow on the Polini is only thru the cyld and out the head.
The Banshee has a 50cc Polini clone engine, the pump is driven off a pully behind the pinion gear on the clutch housing out to the pump which you can see whilel running. My 39cc Polini clone engine, I modified an 80mm Polini clutch housing and running a Euro clutch, works great. I cut a hole in the lower body panel so I can look, and see if it is turning. I put 3 lines on the outer pully so I can tell if is spinning.

Re: Where can I purchase a water cooled replica

Russ, if you could see all the bikes & parts I have you would tell me what my wife does, " you should open up a shop for bikes, parts and repairs, lol. I might sell the Banshee Sho this summer. I just went thru the whole engine. It has an ADA Racing 15:1 Billet alum head and compression cap. It has the stock 18mm piston carb.
The guy I got the basket case from put fiberglass under the tank seat cover, don't think it is going to crack, lol. Have extra parts for it too. The problem is shipping and packaging cost a fortune now, and I live in the California Forests. close to The Russian River. You can see the bike if you click the red Garage under my GRC GP avatar. Going to try to sell it locally.
Since I have a China W/C and air cooled Blata bikes I have 2 new cases, SKF bearings and crankshafts, pistons, cylds, gaskets etc.

@EPR I am less than 2.5 hours from you. I've done a bunch of work in Santa Rosa, Guernville, Jenner etc and know the area well. Let me know this summer when you have a sale and I'll stop by your shop. Thanks

Re: Where can I purchase a water cooled replica

Once the weather gets better contact me here, and we can talk about it. Its in storage right now along with other bikes. I love my China 39cc air cooled Blata in a water cooled C1 frame. Engine built by Boosted306.
I am not racing, I am a collector, all my bikes are in great shape.
