Unknow bike rebuild project

Hi, I am new to the pocket bike world and I was handed a project by my brother.

It looks to be runnable but needs some repairs.

I am not certain of make model or anything about this stuff. My brother is a former mechanic and engineer. He will help me but wants me to do the leg work.

Where do I get started to see if it will even run?

Re: Unknow bike rebuild project

You have whats known as an APC X1 Ninja...It has a 43cc Mitsubishi clone 2 stroke brushcutter engine mounted to a 5:1 reduction transmission and slapped into a crudely engineered frame with wheels and a fragile acrylic plastic bodykit..

It looks like the frontend had a lil crash.....If so and the forks are bent finding front forks is gonna be a slight challenge.....

The e-starter on them is more of a novelty than a luxary.....

It looks like you need a pullstarter for it too...That's the GsMoon type pullstarter...You can get one on ebay for $10

The 15mm pumper carburetor is a Chinese knockoff of a Walbro WYK192.

Gas n oil mix is between 40-50:1 ratio..Sparkplug is a NGK BPM7A gapped to .030".......

They go a max speed of 23-25mph but with DIY mods and a lil money you can make it hit 35-40mph...........

Good Luck with it..........
