New here

Hello everybody new here. Started poking around just was given an old pagsta mini choppa 100 I believe it's the stars and strips one. Got it running today with new plug, new petcock hoses, putting new orings into petcock, and a new battery. Couple of lights dont work, and needs lots of cosmetics and tires. But my current question is fluids. Which ones would be best this is my first mini back and any of the pagsta folk know there are no manuals. Thanks to all

Welcome to the forum.

As far as your question the engine uses 10w/40 motorcycle engine oil that's wetclutch safe...Not oil that's formulated for cars...

Crankcase volume is 3/4 of a full qt.Any more and the engine will smoke when running...

Theres also an oil strainer/filter inside the engine that's accessible by removing the clutch cover........

For the lighting look at the cheap LED motorbike lighting on ebay and amazon...

Theres plenty of mods you can do...The best are the HP sparkwire mod, race CDI , 1/4" fuelline and high flow fuel filter upgrade and the float restrictor removal mod from the bottom of the floatbowl of the carb also the upper valvecover breather mod that forcefully removes trapped heat from around the valves allowing them to run cooler and have less deflection.......

Do you know where I can find info on those mods. Also I'm looking to replace the air intake on mine since it has multiple cracks. Was just gonna replace with a universal k and n.

I use the afro foam style air filters...

I use a picture host site (post image) to post my pics..

As far as the mods do a search on this site using those key words...you'll find the info in the threads.
