Whats up everyone

My son and I are new to the forum. He's got Baja Warrior that he got used for Christmas last year. I've been teaching him how to turn a wrench on his own. Doesn't seem like many kids know how to anymore. He beats on it relentlessly which is hilarious. Never thought Id see that thing 3 feet in the air. I have serviced small engines myself as a job when I was younger and want to pass along any info I can to help out anyone who needs it. We have recently run into an issue that I'm not sure how to resolve so our second post will be to the "Shade Tree Mechanics". Thanks in advance to all.

Re: Whats up everyone

Thanks guys. I've been trying to figure out how to start a thread but it won't let me? I though maybe the account had not been authorized. Had to reset password also. Hopefully get this figured out soon.

Re: Whats up everyone

I figured it out. Guess you have to reply first. Not much of a tech guy. More wrench and hammers.

Stay on new member section, think you need 6 post to post on the forum. If you answer this you will have 5 posts.

He's already made the intro and also a follow-up thread...

He's having a problem keeping the engine case screws tight on a 6hp ohv china made engine.......

I gave him 2 good solutions.....The JB Weld fix would be the most cost effective seeings he says his kid beats the living balls out of it.......

The other is to buy a new 7hp for $125.00 through Harbor Freight Tools.

Re: Whats up everyone

CAM2, I found a new 8 tooth, #25 chain, Cag clutch housing, perfect for the billet engine. Also found a new 6 tooth pinion, T8F 8mm chain housing.
