Re: DB30 Carburetor Problems
Got the new carb yesterday afternoon and when I looked it over before installing it, I noticed the air adjustment screw was just hanging in the hole. I had to turn it 7 full turns to get it to seat. Then I backed it out 2 turns and installed it. I filled it with gas and pulled the rope 5 times and it fired up! I had to adjust the carb just a little, but this engine sounds pretty good. NOW, I have a problem getting the throttle and governor to work together. I have had 2 brain surgeries in the past 15 years, so comprehension is not a good thing for me anymore. Can someone explain or post some pictures of how the throttle cable and governor should be connected so I can get this sucker to work? For the life of me, I can't figure it out. My cognitive thinking has not been the same since the first surgery in 2004. I was SUPPOSED to die, according to 7 different neurosurgeons, but GOD proved them wrong. I'm still crazy, but not as deductive as I used to be. Someone please help me with this, if you can. Thanks
