Ok guys,,,

I need some help with the value of a Polini pocket bike..

the guy selling it finally sent me some pictures.

the guy says 2006 model year Polini 910 water cooled 6.2 hp pocket bike racer works perfect, hardly used, some spares.

He was reluctant to send me pictures, but once I told him I had to see more pictures before i went to see them he finally sent them..

He is asking $750 for it...

what do you guys think...? is it worth that much ? I will post pictures off my phone.. image says too large after download to computer....

Re: How Much Is This Polini Bike Worth?

As you may be able to see, there seems to be alot of scuffs on the body, on the back of the tail and underside of the tail as if the bike flipped backward and scuffed the tail along with heavy scuffing on the rear fender, There are no bolts holding down the seat, looks like the bolts either went thru the seat on a fall. The gas cap is not seated correctly...

In the rear view picture,, i can see that the seat is not centered, it looks to be bent to the right

On the side view, there a many scratches on the body especially on the tail end...

The guy says, that he raced it for 4 weekends when he first got it, then he just put it away .

does this bike look like it was used only 4 weekends?

How much would you pay for this bike? And I still have not seen it in person or heard it running..

thanks for your help and advice

Ask him what track he raced at and what racing class....

I know what that bike is aswell as engine size and price brand new because I have that exact bike myself...

It's a Polini 910 Carena 4.2hp or 6.2hp 39cc watercooled model...4.2 was $1800.00 brand new and 6.2 was $2200.00

Offer $400.00...no higher

Looks like the 6.2 W/C, i can see the radiator. Like my 4.2 its has 5" rims & tires. If you can find 5" dia. tires, there $100 plus each.

It's the 4.2 EPR....Look at the rear tire and right in front of it on the bottom half of the rear swingarm I see an airbox....

The 6.2 the airfilter is a lil higher and almost over the rear wheel...

Re: How Much Is This Polini Bike Worth?

Yeah, I think your right, my eye site is not that great, hard for me to see small photos for details. The 6.2 cases are different w/ the 4 reed V block and higher intake and carb mount. Don't think its Kray, cause i believe he had a 6.2, and he would put it here if he was selling and he is in the state of Washington.
The guy is not going to get $750 for that bike. There is another bike here in L.A. CA., I would buy, a real Blata E10 roller, that only needs a motor $200, cause I have all new parts for 2 China Blata engines. W/C 50cc and air cooled 39cc Blata clone, both would bolt up. Cost to much to ship it.
Go to one of my threads and under EPR, click the Red Garage text, you will see my 50cc C1 and 39cc A/C in a W/C C1 frame, engine made by Boosted306. It has the 37mm 1 ring piston, the newer ones had 2 rings.
See real Blata air cooled engine.

Re: How Much Is This Polini Bike Worth?

thanks EPG...

one more thing I noticed about the pictures.. if you look at the front of the bike,.. is it just me.. or is the whole fairing shifted to the right.. the left fork (looking at the picture) is almost hitting the fairing...

the guy posts (Excellent) on condition

Re: How Much Is This Polini Bike Worth?

I think the guy just thru the body parts on loosely just to take photos, so they would not be lined up right. If you buy a Euro bike, better have a Fat wallet, the engine cond. is more important than anything else, since they are up to $3,000. Cylinder $400, piston and ring $100, coil $88, clutch $100 to $300, flywheel $135 etc.

Re: How Much Is This Polini Bike Worth?

Its real hard to tell if its a series 1 or series 2 polini case. But I'm pretty sure the 4.2 never was wc. If it is a 4.2 its an after market cylinder and coolant system. I've seen that bike on craigslits. Its not worth $750. $400 is a good price for it. And if you know where to look, polini parts can be pretty cheap. I've almost owned a 910 a couple times but never did. Reliable bikes though.

But I would look into that elite 10 frame EPR was talking about. I've got an engine that would fit in it.

Drag that knee straight into the cone!

Re: How Much Is This Polini Bike Worth?

If that is the $200 Elite 10 Blata frame, that's a nice bike, I thought about it cause i have a new China 39cc A/C Blata that would bolt right in, but don't want to pay $200 shipping. Blata rims are $100 each, tires too.
