Site Security Update!

Great News!
We are happy to announce we are improving security across our network and adding Secure Sockets Layer or SSL to the site. This means going forward you'll see Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS); the secure version of HTTP, the protocol used to send data between your browser and the website that you are connected to. This means all communications between your browser and the website will have another layer of encryption. We take the security of your data seriously so updates like this do happen from time to time. There is no downtime or major issues anticipated in this change. If you do notice anything about the site operating not as it should please make sure we are the first to know. You can send a PM to this account with details and we can investigate. Thanks, and if you have any questions about this let me know.

Re: Site Security Update!

I have finally seemed to find a problem too admin[Jeff]

When I make a post and forget to add a few pictures more to the post I go back to edit my post to add a couple more pictures and the "add picture" button disappears in the attach files section...

Oh and the smileys dont work anymore either......................

This is happening on my Dell laptop with Windows 10 installed running Microsoft Edge.

Thanks

Re: Site Security Update!

Hmmm...trying to replicate the issues you mentioned @CAM2 , but so far, smilies work fine for me, and I was able to go in and add pictures by editing. Are you still having these issues, or has everything resolved itself since you reported it?

Cheers,

Erik

Re: Site Security Update!

I just switched over....lets see....if the error shows Ill take a pic and make another post to post the picture or do an edit from my phone.....

So far still no smileys...They are there but when I click on them they do nothing.Even the "more" button in perentesis doesnt work

I'm doing the edit by my phone second pic is what I see after initially posting first pic and trying to edit with a second pic....

If youre seeing the first pic its obvious it has a valid file extension..........

Thanks Erik

Im using Microsoft Edge in Windows10...It works fine in Internet Explorer mode but then it throws off my whole intersynced network changing settings and gumming up the works with-in the rest of my equipment....

I dont get the internet like most people...I grab an internet signal using a usb wifi antenna through an old Dell laptop running windows7 and IE11 using a program to route the internet through the ethernet port into a 8 port wired aswsell as wireless router with multiple range extenders that runs my whole network with Sonos/Roku and Apple Firestick plus I can control everything including my IP wireless surveillance cameras I have mounted in my storage lockers from my cellphone from anywhere.........smiley

Ill just wait til the problems get worked out...Until then I have 5 phones with wifi access I can use thats proven to work....

The best part about having my stuff secure is I can use the signal for home amenities away from home.....lol

Re: Site Security Update!

Anytime you move hosting providers are going to have major problems with the move especially if they were running like Server 2012 and I know Google runs linux-based servers

It mainly happens when your in a poor signal area or your provider cut back your service after going over your alotted gigs for the month.....................
