Re: Duluth Racers 110cc, 50cc @ The Track

I went up yesterday before some thanksgiving feast. I had a blast. The newly re-worked X-1 is zooming now, but I wore the rear tire to the threads and then got a flat . Now I need to decide if I want a stock replacement or if I want to go with the X6 wheels and tires $$$.

I rode my son's cag around after my was out, and it is pretty crazy on that little thing with a bunch of air in the tires. My kidney's hurt after just 2 laps LOL.

Yeah really, that track hurts on cags. You have to pick your lines carefully and keep the front end from coming up. May have to do a pillow mod to the seat.

If the weather is decent I should be out tomorrow. New carb is on so it might take while to get it running right.

Bring it by in the morning and I can get it running for you. I might go ride for awhile on the cag, because my rear tire on the X-1 is wearing through now and i don't know of a local place to get a tire tomorrow.

Anyone know were i can get a X-1 rear tire locally, or any pocket-bike parts sales in ATL?

Is anyone going to the track today?

I went early before the rain and got the new carb about 90% tuned. I was there about two hours. I've never bought any PB parts locally.

Those guys act like *******s. I don't like them over there.

I found two places, one in conyers and one off piedmont rd. I am going tomorrow to get a tire. I just ordered a new throttle cable for my Blata 2.5, so all 3 bikes should be running by Saturday. Too bad it will be freezing and light snow flurries this weekend. I might still try and squeeze in a cold ride at the track.

Bring your bike by, I can get it started. I have some spare spark plugs and can also clean the carbuerator.

Call me, cause I am usually too busy to come to you. Just bring the bike by, or i can come pick you up and bring it to the garage.
