Possible Places to Ride in Birmingham, AL.

Hi Birmingham Riders,

I live in the Roebuck/Center Point/Trussville area and I may have a place to ride. One is an old abandoned Home Quarters Warehouse on the Roebuck/Center Point Parkway. The lot is always empty and there is no thur traffic. So cars are not a problem. The lot is hugh, so there is plenty of room to get a good run on the bike. Another place is a skating rink in Trussville that has a go-kart track next to it. The place is called Trussville Playstation (http://www.trussvilleplaystation.com) there is a link on the page that gives a very good look at the track. The place is available for private and group engagements. Maybe if enough people in the area showed interest, we could get a group together to see if the place could be reserved for an outing. Does anyone have any experience with this business???? I plan on giving the lease holder of the HQ a call to see if they would be willing to let me rent the parking lot on the weekends to ride. Would anyone be interested in pursuing these places as a place to ride?

The vacant HQ is out. There is abe hugh No Tresspassing sign at the entrance and the name of the wrecker company that will tow vechiles parked on the lot. Still havent had a chance to talk to the people at the go kart track. We'll see what happens with them.

I live in the Moody area. I don't know of any place around here, but there were people riding motards in the parking lot of the Hoover Met. I am not sure if they are still doing it. It was on Sundays in the back lot when the Barons are not playing. There is also a go cart track in Decatur they were running at. Let me know if you find a spot.

Hey guys, just moved to the bham area and I too need people to ride with. Dark, have you received in info on that gokart track in trussville?

There's also a kart track in Shelby county that looks effin badass, but I'm not sure what's the deal over there..

We gotta getup some guys from this area. Might ride out to GA and check those guys out. Either way I'm gonna have to run down a suit so I can finally get my knee drag on :-)
