Miami-Dade Pocket Bike Racing

Alright so I know there is ONE track that lets pocket bikes race (Miami GP) but it is in Opa Locka (which is NOT a safe neighborhood) and you will be mostly racing against dirt bikes.

Is there anyone here in the Miami-Dade region that knows of a location (i.e. empty parking lots, abandoned space) where you can ride without problems? If so let me know and I can join you.

Re: Miami-Dade Pocket Bike Racing

Hey check back in a couple of days.Because i know somebody down in Fl who's into pocketbike racing bigtime. They are always looking for people to ride/race.I just got to get intouch with them to make sure i can give out their contact info.

I'm a young man trapped in a old man's body. But i guess some people would call that immature.

Re: Miami-Dade Pocket Bike Racing

Well I just went to Tamiami Park (next to FIU and where the Youth Fair is held) and I must say it is a nice place to ride your pocket bike. I did not get any dirty looks from the people there and the guards did not seem to mind at all. I actually got some claps from people and a couple of jokes from some guys that were walking past me while I was idling ("That is why you shouldn't leave your bike out in the rain... it shrinks").

Anyone in the Miami-Dade area looking for a place to ride should definitely go to Tamiami Park. Let me know when you want to go via PM and I will see if I can go the same day so we can possibly race or something.

Re: Miami-Dade Pocket Bike Racing

I live just south of Tampa bay. I`m looking for people to race and ride for fun. So far I have`nt found any Tracks that let the pocket bikes play and or race. Maybe we could find a place half way between so the distance is`nt that great to play some time. I was looking on the forum last week and I did see that someone had said that Naples had a track. I wrote that person but have not heard nothing yet, maybe it was Ft.Meyers some where in that area. I really do not want to ride in the streets #1 it`s against the law#2 dangerous!

I would try Friction Zone right off Palmetto I take my CBR600RR there and they are really reasonable for a full size bike labor runs 79 per hour on a mini might run you alot less, there was also a place that worked on lawnmoweres off galloway and tamiami trail they might be able to help you.

Re: Miami-Dade Pocket Bike Racing

Hey Man I am looking to get into the SuperMoto racing for fun but have never seen an event was wondering if you could inform me when & where you have a planned day next so I may come out and watch. I curently run my CBR600RR on occassional track days but it's way too expensive to run on a frequent basis. Thanks any info would be appreciated.

I have messed with the idle screw in all positions and nothing.? I am also getting a vibrating noise when i go past around 20 mph If anyone can shine some light would be great.
