Good turnout. I got there kinda late but there were about 40 pocketbikes whipping around the area. We shot lots of good video and plan on going back next week. Do you guys do it over the weekend?

Then you saw me there with my flat black bike that kept falling apart. Still needs to hae some kinks worked out, but that's expected with any frankenstein bike you try and piece together. I have the black vw beetle, duno if yuo saw it. We meet on the weekends, but thats never a set thing. For sure you can find us there Tues. and Thurs...but it's not uncommon to find us there on weekends.

well we were only there for like 30 minutes with a small camera around 11 so I don't think you were there yet. We'll stay longer next time and I'll bring my bike with a small camera attached to it so we can get some nice action shots.

Another Miami rider..

Hello folks. Just moved in from San Diego California where pocketbiking is strong there.

Wanted to know what time on Saturdays' or Sundays do you guys run?

Also, just got off the phone with a fellow by the name of "Tony Schroeder". Tony is the guy in charge of the Homestead Karting track. he is considering opening up a day or two on the weekend for pocketbikes but wants to get a feel for how many guys will show up. if he gets 40 to 50 pocketbikes interested he can then establish a track day (on a real closed circuit track) and have pocketbikes ride there.

I also have a YSR50 cc Yamaha bike which I'd like to put on the track as well just for fun. Tony's phone number is 305-469-6188. if there's enough INTEREST!!!!!!! he will have no choice but to see that he could make some money on these events as well and open up a pocketbiking day for us.................give him a call and ask him when he is planning on setting up a pocketbike date.

if anyone wants to give me a call to get together perhaps on Saturday, let me know. Saturday is the January 1st, probably not too many people around which may be a perfect day to get together to ride at FIU.................give me a ring. cell=786-877-8120.

Homestead 2 hours....

Man, no way Homestead can be 2 hours away if you live in Miami. You must live in North Miami or North Miami Beach.

good luck none the less.

Question need some info

what's up guys I've been a member of the forum for a few weeks now. I've gone out to the Tues. and Thurs. night hangout at the Fairgrounds and I'm really starting to look into getting a bike. I'm a pretty big guy so I cant ride the little bikes but im looking for what you guys call a mid sized bike. I'm not familiar with the names X1 X2 I'm used to GSXR 750 and 1000 =) Can you give me a heads up on what bikes are best to get and why ? I know it is all about your personal preference like in everything else. (Yamaha vs Suzuki)

TIA (thanks in Advance)
Mandy
