Talking Riders in or around Greenville?

Hey everbody! I'm looking for any pocketbike riders in or around Greenville, SC, or anyone who frequents the area. Me, my dad, and a friend of his all own pocketbikes, and like to get our riding time in whenever we can. Unfortunately, we haven't been messing around with them lately, but I plan to get back on track (No pun intended), and hopefully with a few new friends. So, drop a line and I'll see if things work out. Until then, 'ave a good one!

Also note that my dad's username is drjessup. He doesn't utilize the forum very much, but I'll see if that'll change.

Re: Riders in or around Greenville?

well i'm in fayetteville North Carolina and if you guys got a good spot, meaning good size parking lot to ride/race i'm all for it. I got a couple of friends to that will be willing to take the ride.Although i must say theres some REAL SWEET tracks well 2 of them in Sc. You guys should take full advantage of that opportunity.

What bikes do you guys ride?So i'll have an idea which bike i would bring with me.

I'm a young man trapped in a old man's body. But i guess some people would call that immature.

Re: Riders in or around Greenville?

Alright, well, I'll have to talk it up with dad, but I currently do not have my bike. I hope to get it really soon. I have a little bike that I got at the Dollar General, BUT BEFORE YOU LAUGH, we modded the little thing to kingdom come, so the only original parts are the gas tank, frame, and body. Everything else is custom. I'm not exactly sure what my specs are, but my old man does, so I'll post them when I get them.

Re: Riders in or around Greenville?

Sounds cool. I'll talk to dad, but I'm all for it! As for the bike, I don't currently have it, or know the actual specs (My old man does though), but I know that we got it at the Dollar General. BEFORE YOU LAUGH, the only original parts are the frame, the gas tank, and the body. Everything else we either replaced on the spot or replaced it after the original part got broken (With higher quality versions of it, of course). As for my dad's friend, he has about every type of minibike: Water cooled, air cooled, etc.
He also has a Mid-Bike, but doesn't use it as often.

Re: Riders in or around Greenville?

I don't laugh or poke fun at other peoples creations or bike unless they start on minds.LOL
But yeah talk to your dad tell him to get on the forum.LOL I'm heavily into road course racing these little bikes for fun.Other than that i have no use for them.LOL I ask because i'm gonna build 2 more bikes. My current is pretty quick and if i bring that and you guys are racing the 2stroke mids with the weed wacker motors or cags. Then it will not be fun for either of us because my current will be waaaaaay faster. One of the 2nd bikes i'm building is gonna be faster than the my current.Which leaves the 3rd bike, this bike will not be nowhere near as fast as the other 2. So i'm basically trying to make insure theres some racing going on. Not just one person blasting by everybody because they out powered everyone. That's no fun for anybody, atleast not for me.
If you guys do have the 2stroke mids or cag pocketbike then i will build a 2troke mid to race with you guys.
Find out and let me know as soon as you can.

Re: Riders in or around Greenville?

Well, more likely than not, we won't be riding mids. I'll get the specs as soon as I can!

Re: Riders in or around Greenville?

Some people still call the midbikes pocketbikes. When the mibikes are way bigger than the pocketbikes.
Well either find out for sure and i can probably whip up something to race with you guys. As for my other friends they have the mids which are also modified and veeeeerrrry fast. Don't know if any of them would go.Well maybe Reid, cuase this would be his only chancce to beat me in a race if i'm on a muuuuuch slower bike.LOL

Well, where you live? Anywhere near SC? Methinks I won't have a cag bike, cause' I might borrow my dad's friend's bike (One of them anyway).

Re: Riders in or around Greenville?

I've got a X7, and I was talking to SEMRa, and they said that if a couple of people showed up with pocket bikes at their races, they would open up a class for us.
