Could i block off the reed opening and put a Piston port head on the reed case i have and make that work would be easier than fitting the piston port case to my truck?

$215 shipped, that does even cover all the labor I put in, days. If you are interested I will post photos.
Can you post a pic of the bottom of the engine?

Yeah, it would have to be a big RC like CAM2s home made ones. CAM2 would know. I know very little about RC stuff.

Pretty much and probably the keywords used to do the search....

Most think the engines are model specific like a Chevy having a Chevy engine..

They don't realize the engines are put into many different types of rideables..

The eye opener is when they find out the engine mounted in that X1 comes from Augers , Trashpumps and Backpack blowers with e-start and Brushcutters…….LOL

You just have to use good keywords......………Only thing is finding one with an X1 trans so I hope one isn't needed.....I just saw that a complete engine is needed..Not engine and trans..

ebay

amazon

That rubber seal on V-stack backing plate should make the choke plate tight when it is mounted to the carb and engine. You put the intake gasket and intake manifold in place. then the carb gasket and carb, V-stack mounting plate, choke arm and then V-stack and air filter.

Ash2018 Well it’s finally came in the post today.typical now the weather has gone bad.the choke flap is moving freely and not catching at.do I still have to
Take abit of at all and the other bit doesn’t have any signs that needs to be
Sanded to stop the air doing that thing.(forgot the word)will the screws need adjusting at all or will it Be ok from
Factory.thanks

That would be the best route.....I was under the impression the stuff was ordered and on its way..

The plastic manifold is actully better than the aluminum even though its a lot more fragile and prone to cracking due to overtightening the carb...

I found that after prolonged use that thick aluminum intake absorbs so much heat from the engine it starts to vaporize the fuel aswell as heat up the carb.........

Heres a UK based WYK carb kit seller for you via ebay UK...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/47cc-49cc...WG5Q:rk:1:pf:0

Remember to do the proper modifications for maximum performance..

The velocity stack needs the sharp edges smoothed out to reduce turbulence and the choke flap needs to be modified with a tin snips so it doesn't impinge the opening in any way after the choke is opened up...

Good Luck

MrKitty I sent you a private message of the kit that you need it's the same kit that I am running right now...

The plastic intake manifold is better in my opinion it helps block the heat from transferring to the carburetor it has other benefits as well...

Re: Have A 2 Stroke A/C Pocketbike & Want To Make It Faster?????....Look Here If You

Your in England right?? They have black plastic manifolds that fit the 15mm pumper carb for both the reed port & piston port engine. Search eBay.com.eu for 43cc - 49cc 2 stroke pocket bike engine parts, and see what shows up. They have kits for both engines w/ intake, gaskets, carb, V-stack & cone air filter.

Tell me if the pictures of the parts are ok to get as there from uk and will get to me soon.thanks
Ok the intake and gaskets are more for a WT-603T carb....The small 1/8" purge / pulse port hole on the WYK 192 wont line up with the intake.

Youre gonna either need an adapter plate[link below] to run the WYK 192 carb on that intake or get a slightly better WT813 carb with accelerater pump.........

If it was a WYK intake to WT carb alls youd need is a dab of JB Weld to modify the intake but unfortunately not the case/solution here...

It sux youre just getting into this hobby/sport as its dwindling quickly...Everytime I or other members post stuff it gets picked up on google and becomes a search topic...non-members can see those posts then click the links to buy the products...Youd be surprised how many follow but don't join....

Whats left is pot luck and bottom of the barrel.........
