I’m not sure what the base of my problem is yet exactly but maybe somebody can help me. I was riding my 40cc mini bike earlier and I decided to transfer to the sidewalk from the street. After one SMALL numb I heard a sound that sounded like my chain coming off and when I turned the throttle the back wheel did not spin. So I killed the bike picked it up and walked it block away to my house. So far I’ve taken off most of the body so I can see somewhat of what’s going on and the chain seems intact because it’s still on the sprockets. However, i restarted the engine and turned the throttle to see what’s going on and it sounds like a chain or something inside of where it supposed to be spinning. Idk what’s going on so can somebody help me?

I meant bump* not numb. And update: when I pull on the throttle it sounds like something is spinning in that area where the chain is supposed to be spinning.

More then likely you snapped the chain or striped the splined shaft inside the transmission

Or striped the belt I can't tell what transmission you have from that picture
