hey guys, sorry to bother again. It only seems that i come around when i want something, thats not true, usually i sit here and lerk watching and waiting. :p

heres my newest of my problems with my cat eye pocket bike. i just put a new carb on it a day or two ago and tried tuning it, i couldnt get the screw on the top of the carb to move even though the carb is new its stuck and if i havnt already im in fear of striping it. ill get to that soon, but my newest problem when i went outside to pull the pull start a couple hundred time like yesterday in an attempt to get the pocketbike running and i noticed that there was no fuel in the tank , it had all leaked out of the carb seeing the lines go in on top i dont think it could be the lines or the tank leaking where the lines go in.

im hoping i havnt ruined this 2 day old carb i just bought, please let me know if you have any idea who stole my gas or how it leaked out through the carb.

LOL...It may be a new carb but its chinese.........That means anything can happen to them....sounds like the internal pumper needle is stuck of the pumper diaphragm already warped/////

Try tapping on the side of the carb with a 1/2" drive extension to see if the needle seals again...If not I suggest you buy a real walbro rebuild kit and put it in..Those carbs are a copy of the Walbro WYK series carbs...

You said you had a new carb on there,,,wheres the old carb....remove the whole needle from the old carb and swap it into the new carb ...make sure to loosen up the needle to make adjustments and use loctite to secure the screw again

The old carb didnt work, so i worry it may be the bad part, but i guess its worth checking, i also wonder if the company i bought it from will exchange it. i doubt it but seeing they are just around the corner (7miles) i can swing by there, usually in person i get much better results than on the phone ( its easier to tell someone to **** off when your not standing in front of them). If they wont exchange it, is there any chance you can provide me a link for the rebuild kit from a good company with a good price and in a perfect world, free shipping.

Thanks guys, im not sure if this is a bad thing but since i found this site ive got alot more balls when it comes to ripping these things apart, usually i was afraid that i might not be able to put it back together but thanks to you guys i found my sack.

We all start as noobs......Some advance and excel ,- some just advance....Getting in there and doing it doesnt seem as hard or intimidating than talking about it....Learning the process is sometimes longer than actually doing it but sometimes both are needed..next bike youll be alot more adept................Good Luck

Post pics of my dirtbike :D
hey CAGowner, i am sorry to say but, a guy that i had offered the motor to a week ago in trade for a minibike actually showed up 4 days late and i had no idea he was coming. i was outside working on bikes in the backyard when he just walked up on me, i apologize for this if he had called or texted like he was supposed to then i wouldnt be writing this reply cause i would have told him it was gone already. The guy did call me yesterday whining about the inside of the motor being all messed up due to being exposed to the elements. I even told him to bring it back and ill give him his minibike back, the minibike is a 1969 fox spoiler, its a roller, all original parts and tires are fox mfg. brand i believe they came with the bike and hold air. but he wouldnt bring it back since i told him to bring it back he wont reply. he was just trying to get me to give him something else or cash, i told him hes nuts, he had plenty of time to make a decission, i told him everything i was told when i bought the bike so he took the same gamble i took and this aint walmart you cant exchange for another item or get cashback. Every once in a while on craigslist you run into a baby who realizes when they get home that they just dont have the skill to do anything with the item, then they try to call you a cheat. I have done the same thing plenty of times, but never once have i called and ask for a return or an exchange.

What would you do in the situation, if you traded an item with a person and gave them a honest full description. and then the next day or two after you have either traded the item you got from them or spent the money you got or sold the item then they decide they want their original item back.

It actually worked out in a way but now im still looking for an xbox 360. let me know if you need a fox spoiler roller

my dad also said the reunion he was going to in pa. has been delayed or canceled, he said there is talk of it possibly happening but on a different weekend sooner or later im not sure. so if it does happen and he does drive to PA. is there anything else you might want for an xbox??? i have a running yamaha 125cc motor, well at least i was told it was running

i checked out the carb rebuild kit and i was wondering, would buying and rebuilding my china carb using that kit make it about as good as the walbro carb?

and thank you for finding that link for me, once the boss lady gets home ill ask her if i can get it, normally i keep my balls in her purse.

yes it will make it just as good...the carbs are on engines that are made for lawn equipment engines....they are made to run continuous duty...the internals inside of the carb are made of crappy quality rubber that shrink and warp in the presence of ethanol,,the rubber flappers are so thick they perform but barely and the diaphragm warps easily too and hinders true pumping performance..the walbro kit is quality and the transparent flappers add performance to the carb aswell as being more resistant to ethanol........

Every china rep carb I buy I never even use without ripping it apart and rebuilding it as a walbro.....................

I also take a precision fileset and blueprint the carb barrel so the two lips that catch air at WOT are smoothed out...........

I also pointed the needle tip.....

The tywrap is holdng the throttle wide open while i took my precision file set and took down a lip that hinders flow a tad.........

If the carb on thee mini quad is a pumper carb and has same inlet/outlet openings it can be used............

The old avatar is a 50cc ( 46cc ), Blata rep Camel Honda, I did some port work, cleaned the ports & water ways so the flow is better for water and fuel. Put Viton O rings in the head. Got a 19mm Dell rep carb kit w/ manifold & air filter, along with a jet kit,it has a 1.01mm main and CF reeds.
The Monster Energy Lucky 7, is all custom, built all from parts, has a water cooled 2 disc C1 front forks, has a 49cc 5 port cyld 15:1 billet alum 4 pc head, 12mm FC crank w/ key and heavy 400 gram flywheel, and for the final touch, I left the base gasket out, and used Yamabond, so it could be over 15:1. Then the 16mm Walbro 603 on an alum intake w/ boost port, and hp foam filter. Has a 7/55 gears and pulls them easily. The best part is the foot pegs are on the front axle.

I have actually never rode the spoiler yet, i just found a motor with a clutch on it, its a tecumseh 2.78 hp at least thats what i was told, came of an arians snowmachine. i had problems the day i did decide to work on it and wasnt able to get the motor to mount securely and it kept throwing the chain before i could get 4 ft. so i guess at the moment it does about 2mph, also i need to cut a new board for the seat and wrap it in some pleather with new foam (shes gonna be easy on the hemroids)

as for the yamaha motor, when i bought it i was told that it did run when removed from a yamaha 125cc dirtbike, no i have no idea if thats the truth or not but i took his word for it and took the gamble but i only bought it mainly to resell it cause i got it for a nice price, i guess the guy needed money
