Thinking of fabbing one up for my 43cc.
Yay or nay?
Yay or nay?
Thanks again bro! You said you're in MI, where abouts? I'm in Warren and wouldn't mind picking your brain (and maybe your parts bin ) if you're not too far and wouldn't mind throwing a little knowledge this way?Do not port your piston, your carb bolts to the cyld intake port. On a reed port the hole is done to use the 1 to 3 upper cyld wall intake ports. The reed engine, gas & air go thru the carb, manifold, passed the reeds & by the crank and up all the ports. Them washers are spring loaded to keep pressure on the arms so they don't move outward. You get a single HP spring for your clutch online. At scooterparts4less has a kit with new clutch bolts and springs for around $4, if yours are rusted, there pretty cheap, I keep 2 sets here all the time, have 5 set of Cag racing springs too, lol.
You can use JB Weld, real thin layer, but I use a $9 tube of Yamabond from a Yamaha dealer, it works real good on all your intake gaskets to, that's what they use it for.
I use clear Vinyl tubing,,large C02 cartridge with 3/4" cut off the tip and an air chuck fitting...........You can definately see they work when built right...the butane bottles you can get at gas station they cost like two bucks they are clear and stand like three inches tall and a inch wide .refill a couple of lighters and be sure its empty remove the tip drill out and jb wed a fitting and there it is
