Yes they work and store pre-mixed fuel, so when you get on the gas it is just waiting.
You better check the tech rules at your local track regarding pocketbike setup for racing and the mod parameters for a particular class before going through the motions to see if the time is gonna be viably justified..............Good Luck
thanks man yeah i think i will as it does seem a ot of work the guy at polini says that if i get a 40ccc then i can race in two clarssis with two carb set ups is this right? or a lot of work? and also if you could help im going to buy tools tomoz any idears whatwould be a good idear im geting a dremal as a start?
That's very good advice, don't hurt to check so you don't waste your time.

A dremel is the way to go....according to most racing sanctions you cant powerport but you can blueprint and clean-up the engine to produce cleaner power.....

40cc running 2 classes with 2 diff carbs?..What sizes 14/14 and 19mm or 17.5?
im not sure but i said i would like to go for the 50cc and he said at the momunt theres not meany people raceing in that clarss in the uk and scottland he said go for the 40cc and two carb set ups then race in two clarsses im guessing with the gp6 is a 17.5 i think but not sure and then a 19mm .................

and yes ill get one tomorrow also when you say blue print a engine what do you mean like pollish it up in side? might as well as im doing a rebild and also any idears of anything eles? and also the fly weel can i maybe drill a cupal holes in it to make it lighter however its like the size of a a 40cc piston in half lol any idears? its heavy as hell but is that to balince the engine? any hellp?

Blueprint is to finetune for velocity and flow by matching ports or reducing flow angles which cause turbulence.....Things may fit together but with the right blueprinting those fit together parts will be alot more better than just assembling alone like the bike manufacturs below the $3500 bike price range do......

My Polini 910 6.2hp 50cc watercooled I have I thought was pretty quick when I first got it...After pulling it apart and seeing room for improvement I busted out the dykem and the dremel so I can do some blueprinting and powerporting to it so the power really shows through and now it really does ....Right now its geared 9/56 for massive mph topend runs but if I geared it for competition it would be able to compete no problem...

Like i said before check with your tracks tech rules on what can and cant be done to the track bike...theres nothing like buying a bike,,fixing it up to be a racer then find out your illegally modified and cant run when you go to track tech inspection to see if you conform to track rules and standards..............one thing for sure is youre gonna want to run water wetter along with the straight water you have to run according to sanctioning rules banning antifreeze or glycol.....They also sell aftermarket watercooler tubes made of finned aluminum you may want to look into..................Good Luck
