ok so i have been slacking badly on my bikes, started the c2 and i had antifreeze shoot out the exhaustmarcelomy yellow x7 is still happy after her engine was rebuilt, broke the drum in the gearbox though, had a spare. tore down my mini quad.i got a schedule change so i will have time to actually work on things again! first things fiirst, the freaking repsol bike. its getting a 200cc honda engine(seems fitting since a repsol bike is honda) simply put, this bike is ment to be strong, powerful, egile, and fast! twin disc clutch, slicks, KOSO gauge, the bike will have a charging stator and possible electric start. well ill keep you guys posted, the wife is going through slingo withdraw lol

Hey cool hope you can get eerr dun!!!! Suggestion though get an x18 rear wheel if you still have that x6 rear wheel. You will never find a tire that will fit that x6 rear rim.Only the stock tires seem to fit it.
Although the 200cc might make about or a little less hp than my 165cc v2 motor. You really don't wanna be on stock tire unless the bike is just for show.

There has been a few members that have put those honda clone vert motors in their mids.None have actually made a vid of them running.I do like the way the vert motors look in the mids and the 5spd is a plus!
its a x7, but i sill have that frame your referring to :p

Thats what i was referring to i guess, the x18 respol build. I know it's your choice but the x7 chassis is gonna take alot more chop cut and weld.To fit the 200cc vert motor in verses your x18 chassis.
right, the 200cc is a GX200 side shaft. the x7 looks more like a cbr1000

Ahhhh ok when i saw 200cc i automatically thought 200cc vert motor 5spd.
Yes the x7 2stroker would be a better canidate for this.
yea its gonna be a intresting build, alot of power behind it, kinda positive the bike will 1. wheelie, 2. drift, 3.go pretty freaking fast when it hooks!

Ok which 200cc honda motor are you talking about again?? Is it that gssomething 200cc motor? If so in stock form don't they make like 9hp or something.

the one that ways OHV on the valve cover, looks like a briggs and stratton animal. i already ordered a 310 lift isky cam and stainless valves(160cc head milled .050) i need a aluminum flywheel, a better con rod, flat top wiseco piston, and some roller rockers:cool:.

There ya go!lol When you was describing how the bike was gonna behave. I was thinking not woyh yhat motor in stock form. Had me totally confused.lol Can't wait to see it up and running.
I've watched quite a few vids with the minibikes drag racing in the streets. The one thing I did notice, though the bikes were fast. They didn't seem that great on the take off. The guys racing them looked like they had to use their feet alot to get a good take off. But once they got going they were movin.
What will you lookin at as far as hp goes with your motor setup?
yea i noticed that too, ive seen some though were the throttle response was nasty and a 300 pound black dude was on it and it still spun back tires. maybe conserving clutch life? i want all functionallity of all accessories though, even a 400 dollar koso gauge lol.
Hey your back, been working on alot of stuff like you. Sounds like a Sick project to me,lol.
ya i know those motors that should be nice cant wait till i c the progress on this one:thumbsup::thumbsup: two thumbs up or alright alright lol

yea got my schedule changed at work, (i do customer service at t-mobile). i go in at noon and get off at 10:30 at night. so no time to work on stuff. change it to 9-5:30, i can actually work on stuff when i get off work now:D its a tight fit, but it fits. i have to cut the table off the frame, the round mounts are proving problematic and must go. every square inch must be freed up. id like to have the availabity of a electric start and a stator to charge my battery. but i heard the flywheels dont like RPM and 10,000 rpm with 20hp my do it in. cant have cake and eat it too....just have to charge her up. i know the KOSO runs off a independent power supply.
20hp sounds good.Man I would have loved to run up against a bike with one of those motors at the track with my 165cc v2. Hopefully you can get her to a track and see what she can do...
i need a idea on brakes

PB Parts in Florida has hydraulic front and rear kits that bolt up to a cag or X bike. Don't fit on my C1, bummer. I am putting a X7 gas front end and rear wheel on a cag frame, lenghtened and 2 inline engines. I got the both for $24.95 F, $29.95 R, bolts right up to your bike and works with the stock discs. I get 10% off so $50 total free shipping on a $99 + order and they have a phone and you can call and get the right parts, lol.
