hkmotos, I just checked out, they have the 19mm C1 Carb kit for $48, and they have a SS C1 killer exhaust for $119, I want it, next on my list, lol. They have alot of new stuff, got to check it out.
I have delt with HKmotos before. I bought some triple stage cf reeds for my cag. They had great deal at $10 a set so i bought 3. My C1 is a beast to ride. I raced it a couple times and couldn't keep the front wheel on the ground. I love the power but the thing is so small i had to fight it doing wheelies the whole race. It ended up doing a wheelie which led to it doing a back flip right out form under me.
haha thats is what mine is like i really find it hard to race and all the time thinking to lean my head over the frunt weel haha to much pawer what am i saying haha need more pawer allways hahaha
LOL, thats exactly how i had to ride mine, lean all my weight over the front wheel. if the bike had a bigger frame it probably wouldn't be much of an issue. I have been thinking of using the motor on a mini go cart or something. That tiny frame and powerful motor is a bad combination.
I don't know much about jetting, I got help from StrayDawg63. I have a 14/14 rep Dell I modded for my 40cc Polini rep engine. Took the brass tube out of the bore, drilled it to 15mm in back and taperbored it to 16mm in the front put the next size jet up. Then I drilled the two little holes that face back in the brass tube, .005" bigger than stock, and they are 2 different size. Not much more you can do.
That is a 19mm Banshee manifold with the alum tube I ripped out of my stock C1, so it would fit the 14 Dell, clamp it in with a ss hose clamp. To run a 19mm, which I might do later, have 2 more of them here, you take the C1 piece out and slide the 19mm in.
so dus it just slid out? and so can you send me all the tecno about what you did as i have a 19mm carb rep one i wont to get something that works right and makes it faster haaha
The clamp on the intake holds the 14/14 alum piece in and the carb clamps to it. If your carefull you can bore from the backside and taper the front side without hitting the brass tube in the center. The metal is real thin so you cannot go any bigger.
No photos I just when out and did it. The C1 piece fits right into the Banshee 19mm manifold, and a small hose clamp, then bolt the carb to the same place it goes on the B1 or C1. The front I used my dremel rotory file and sand paper. Tsun has 19mm manifolds for B1,C1s for $20 I think. For $48 to your door, hkmotos will send you the whole kit, carb, manifold, air filter and all even a new throttle cable that fits. I just ordered a B1 C1 SS racing exhaust for $119, and got a one ring 40mm Z1 ZPF piston going to put it in an Cag ADA 40mm 2 pcs head/cyld kit I got last year, might make it an Ethanol Fuel engine.
When I had the shop I tried just about everything with these motors. Youre not going to do any good with nitrous trust me. Wish I could find the pic I posted back in 04 of the bike we had with nitrous I know I posted it on here once. If you want a 19mm carb to fit on C1 you freeze the manifold then boil it and the metal part just pulls right out. Im kinda rusty on alot of this as its been a long time. Just pulled out my banshee and thinking of selling it.
