Hello,

I was adjusting the cam timing,
sprocket is 180 opposite of the notch in the head,
how do i get this to be set correctly so it will be 0 degrees of the notch,
i have pictures if needed,

I did a search but no one actually answered this properly.

remove the camgear from the camshaft......install 2 screws and use a screwdriver to flip cam position 180 degrees make sure the T on the flywheel is at the top notch in the case and the camgear *** matches the line and add the chain................you may have to use the screwdriver to get the gear back on..good luck
this is how i did it
put the sprocket on the cam and the chain to where it looks close, turn the flywheel counterclockwise till the T, look at the cam gear, is the notch lined up? if its close then i like to take the sprocket off and roll it a tooth or two till its on, at this time both valves are closed and you can check by wiggling the rockers
if the mark isnt even ther then turn the flywheel one more time to the T and repeat
if the valves are open at the T and notch you got it wrong
Its a 4 stroke, shouldn't be any such thing as 180deg out. try rotating the crank.

ya but when your new thats what seems most logical, its really just a trick of the mind
im thinking of cutting off one of the x22 mufflers and modding it to fit my pitbike....... the muffler looks so nice do you think it would hurt perf or be better then the stock ssr pitbike muffler

If he spun the crank another revolution it would be right....LOLcam spins 1 time for every 2 crank revolutions....
