Chain Troubles

I got this from a friend for $20 cause he couldn't get it started and it had everything but the chain so i figured i'll get it started do some stuff to it to make it look good and then just buy a chain online and ill have a nice little thing to get around the neighborhood but i simply CAN NOT find the right chain for this bike and it's really getting to me. I saw online a "similar" clutch and clutch case and it said a "25H" chain fits the sprocket so i figured that looks like my clutch so that must be my chain so i ordered a 25H chain and when it came it didn't fit so i said i'd go online and make sure i don't make that mistake again so so i found this website and figured i'd give it a try so anyone who can help me i'd be very grateful.

I've done to much with it to just give up now, i painted the frame, sand blasted the rims, blue neon's, and new gas tank and gas filter so any help would be amazing.

Your clutch pinion is wrong...it looks like a TF-8mm chain pinion and a #25 rear sprocket.....the 25h chain will work after you get the right pinion....

Your upper engine tope screw is missing or the piece is busted off,,,that bracket does more than you know and making a beefier one is recommended...

I don't know what your reffering to when you say the "Pinion", do you mean the counter shaft sprocket AKA the sprocket that is on the clutch??? And if so where do i find a 25H pinion that will fit my clutch? And i'm not sure what you mean by my one missing engine bolt, are you talking about the bracket above the clutch that isn't attached to anything?

the sprocket coming from the clutch is called a pinion gear.....the bracket above the clutch not attached to anything is what im referring to...that bracket does more than you know and is way underbuilt.......It needs to be solidly attached to the frame...

you can get a new pinion from ebay or a whole clutch bell housing with pinion aswell.............
A 25H doesn't fit either the pinion nor the rear sprocket. Is a 25H smaller then the TF-8mm chain like you were talking about because the 25H chain is to big for either sprocket but not by to much so if the TF-8mm chain is slightly larger i think that would be the chain it needs. Do you know if the TF-8mm is a larger chain then the 25H?
Yes the T8F 8mm chain is larger, you see it on scooters and X1 -X7s.

Your gonna need a regular #25 then

25h comes between 25 and 35......I didnt have a 25h chain to photograph that day........

What chain does this bike take because im looking on the internet and #25 sprockets look to big almost and this bikes counter shaft sprocket looks really similar to mine?

You need the TF-8mm chain...........
I have both 25 and 25H, there the same size the H is just stronger chain.
I can see the TF-8 chain is a little bigger in the picture and i think i'm going to go with that chain but also i'm just wondering but is the pocket bike i have common or..? Cause i'm yet to find another one just like it ANYWHERE so i was wondering if any of you recognize this bike or have had one yourselves.
Yours looks like a MTA2 full body Cag thats missing the windsheild and lower body. There are a bunch of A2 Cag frames for different China factories. I got my A2 from Canada, and my A1 half fairing from MPR in Ca. They come in 47 and 49cc versions, 43 and 49cc. The newer bikes have 49cc 44mm x 12mm piston bearing while the 40mm 47cc has a 10mm piston pin so you have to be carefull when you by parts. The older Cag have #25 chain and the newer ones T8F 8mm chain and gears, you can buy both online.
First photo is an A1 and the second I believe is like yours but its half a racing crank and tons of mods.

You have either a half fairing or full fairing cag....Theyre very common and have about a couple dozen different manufacturers building them so although the model numbers may jive the frame design wont really;-just the wheels and engines...I have 6 cags and all 6 frames are totally different................
