Could it be the Clutch?

hey guys, i am still having the problem with my carb or im starting to wonder could the clutch or whatever i have on this thing cause it to not go. after the carb spilled out all my gas, i did what came recommended by a forum member here and yay it actually worked. So i finally got it started again, does same as it was before i screwed up the carb where i can get it to start and idle and it spins the rear wheel nice and fast but the second i set it on the ground and give it a little gas it bogs down i can even gun it and it wont move but it feels like it wants to go. so what im wondering is if this cat eye pocketbike at least i think its a cat eye could have a bad clutch , well it kinda looks like its a gearbox attached to the motor. does that thing take oil of some sort? there looks to be a bolt that might have a rubber washer on it. if anybody has any idea about these bikes i could really use a hand

the pic on the left is the part im talking about, can you see that bolt with the little black washer around it? to the left and above the gear, thats the one im wondering if i put some kind of fluid or is that a place where i could adjust the clutch or something, if anybody knows it would be a huge help, i just wanna ride this thing.
Give it a compression test.............

Those cateyes came with a jackshaft setup...because yours is missing you may be binding the chain when you sit on it.......
The bolt with the rubber washer is the transmission fill hole. You can use anything over 40wt to lube it.

ok, i got the screwdriver and went to town, but it dosnt seem like that little tiny screw moves, it seems like im about to round the slot out. i have really screwed as hard as i could without rounding it out. any suggestions, or ideas as to why it might be stuck or wont move, maybe its in the way i was trying to turn it all the way, ??? beats me i tried to turn it clockwise i think :p thanks for the picture, you truly made it moron proof, but ill surpise you
Chinese carbs are never set correctly at the factory, if the little screw isnt moving its because it was epoxied in place = you need a different carb or a ton of patience. If your carb came with a little black plastic plug covering the hole then its probably adjustable and just stuck.
Most of the time you will need to screw the little screw out (a lot). The side screw needs to be around 2 turns out.

We have a guide on how to tune it and a video here:

Where is my jackshaft, was there ever one there??? im gonna go look at it again to see if i notice where it should be, does anybody have a pic of what mine is supposed to look like, why am i missing a jackshaft?

dang

if that transmission is low on fluid could that do what ive described as my problem with taking off?
That is a 5 to 1 reduction reverse direection gear box. There is no jack shaft on that setup I believe. The clutch is behind the box bolted to the flywheel.

Do you see where on the frame where it pivots it looks like something broke off.....Thats where the jackshaft sits....Looks like someone busted it off possibly because the jackshaft bearing blew up and they didnt know where to purchase another............

All the cateyes Ive owned have them and the only cateye that doesnt have an jackshaft setup is the 06 2 stroke X7 cateye..........

The way the transmission is supposed to be mounted is with the transmission pointed up.......

im gonna give my cousin a call in a minute and ask him to take a pic of the lackshaft setup and stuff on his stepsons cateye and ill post them............
Look at your chain...How many masterlinks do you see....You should only see two but because the jackshaft was eliminated the chain needs to ne lengthened longer so you should find 2 masterlinks unless they used a chainbreaker tool...........
Dang he's still havin problems! GL with ur bike man
I thought that was a a cvt trans cam?

How's it goin? Haveu messed with the fox spoiler yet?
heres what the jackshaft looks like....
oh snap! so i probably should install one of them, did you say i could be losing some of my umph without that jackshaft??? is that something that my local farm/hardware store would have in stock? they sell clutches, minibikes, cat food, underwear, just about everything. i remember seeing some gears on the rack, that would fit my shaft, how many and what kinds of parts would i need to make my own jackshaft
