Made some custom fenders for my Mini Quad with some 4x10 pieces of 1/16" polished aluminum sheet that I slip rolled.... going to weld them on tonight.

might break press the edges 90 degrees down to make sure they properly deflect mud dirt and water downwards and not out.

about 1.75$ for the aluminum and 30 minutes of machining, so maybe 10-15 bucks of work.

I mocked them up to see how they looked on the quad, and they will definitely need some rolling, but it's going to look great.

Next I want to fabricate a housing for a battery to power some head lights, since I mostly get to ride in the evening. I want to front mount the lights on the front "bumper" and put the housing in the space between the tubing in the front end. If anyone knows about a good 12v head light kit, send a link :).

Here are some pics:

I would look on eBay, I got some battery powered 56 LED handle bar clamp ons and a red clamp-on tail light for $8 each set. Found all kinds of lighting systems.

Thanks EPR, will do that. does the brake light have a switch that can be adapted to a stock brake lever?

SDScooters is sending me 5 feet of chain and a new exhaust gasket, mine is full of holes now, and is leaking alot of air and oil.

Look here what I came across a few nights ago:

The tail light is on and you can make it strobe, and blink on and off and just light up.
