Re: VIOLA!!!

Not to bad for my first go at this. I used 2mm thick acrylic sheet. Then used some duct tape to get a basic shape. I made the the rough shape a bit bigger so to compensate for the arc or bend. I tried using a heat gun to heat and bend. That wasn't good enough i ended up breaking a good size piece off. Using tue oven is tue best way. I heated the oven to 350° for bout 7mins. The worse part was the cutting at first i thought i couod use scissors.lol I wasn't about to use a box cutter and keep etching till it was cut. So i used my scroll saw and it was quicker and easier.

Dang it made a 2nd windscreen and broke it while bending it. I kept trying to bend it to much and it started cooling off. The snap, lesson learned if even it feel real warm to the touch. Do not t ry to keep bending just go back and re-heat a bit.
