Exhaustn bolt problem

Hi, i am new to the pocket bike planet and this is my first post.

I recently bought a bike and the exhaust bolts keep popping off. M8 x 1.25 bolts fit but need to be a quarter inch longer for any washers to be able to go on and the bolt reach down into where it screws in. Unfortunately i haven't found any m8 x 1.50 bolts ANYWHERE. Any suggestions on how to keep the bolts from popping off?

No problem sir:thumbsup:
You can also get the Loc tite at autozone
Whats the difference between the medium and high strength? Does the medium have more chance of popping off again? & lastly, is it gonna be able to stay on with all the heat coming off the engine?

high strength will be more likely to stay on permanent than the medium strength. but the high strength will be harder to remove when you want to take it apart.
well on my pocket bike i haven't had a problem with it getting loose from the heat
I use SS split lockwashers on my bolts
Red, high strength, locktite will usually require heat to remove.
Locktite and splitwashers will deffinately help... I changed the bolts altogether aswell, M5 steel bolts to M6 galvanized hardened steel bolts, drilled and retapped my exhaust manifold. 10 minutes, and now I never have to retighten my exhaust.
