it costs $200 and in my opinion is not worth it, as most of these bikes cost about that, however, i think i want to try it anyway on a stock cag and see what happens - just gotta save up 200 bones for the experiment!

anybody care to comment

and let's not just have the "no it's not worth it" comments, let's actually hear you back it up!

$200...............thats just insane! You have ALOT more things that you should upgrade to that will give you way more performance.

You can get a stroker crank, big bore, adjustable main and triple tapered needle for less than that.

It would be money well spent as well as ten times the performance.

It's amazing the stuff that people try to sell.

Are there better ignition systems than the stock one? For sure. Is there benefit to getting a hotter (more voltage) and stronger (more current) spark? Yes. But once you are getting a near-optimal burn, there is nothing left to improve. Getting a still hotter or stronger spark won't do a thing.

But even the most high-tech, incredible ignition won't even come close to giving the performance gain that even a simple carb upgrade will achieve.

Maybe you could buy it and give us some comments. Maybe contribute to the ommunity instead of sponging off it. But for what its worth, I don`t even think that we have enough coil wire for it. It won`t hurt but it won`t help either.

At what point do you decide that your spending too much money on your 200-300 dollar bike? I would like to assume that one wouldn't even be looking at a product like this until one has upgraded the more common items...e.g. pipe, carb, plug, etc. I'm not going to doubt that the part does what it says, but is it worth $200? I think not. You would be better served spending the money on Beer, or putting it toward a new bike with more HP.... something watercooled for example.
