Hey all,

I live in Holiday(near New port Richey) and am looking for some places to ride. I have found one decent parking lot at an abandoned church, and a subdivision that was never built. Neither have any 'no trespassing' signs.

they are both in the vicinity of tarpon springs/holiday. i was at the church last night and some dude rolled up on a mini dirt bike and we threw down for a bit. he said he rides all over the area and the cops don't bother him. i wasn't too eager to hit the streets, i preferred the safety of the parking lot, but he insisted the streets were fair game as long as you stay out of civilization.

i am still trying to find more parking lots, as i am not keen on riding the streets whatsoever. i would really love to find a couple more people to come shred it up with me to make things more interesting.

please PM me if you have a spot of your own that is safe to ride, or if you want a map of the places near tarpon springs. if you have a spot, i would be glad to load up the bike and meet up.

btw i ride an X6 two stroke and an x-15 4 speed, both of which fit in my hatchback, so please PM me if interested.

Yeah stay out of the streets man.The odds go way up for chances of being injured. On that note one of good buddies is on his way down to Fl as we speak.He already moved his family down there so he's just moving the rest of their things.Well it just so happens that this guy is a DIEHARD racer like myself.Infact him and I started racing these bikes at the same time.LOL He's he's a top notch fellow all the the way.

I forget what part of Fl he's moving to but i just tried to call him.As soon as he gets back to me.I will post up and possibly leave you his number.
I'm gonna warn you though! Your gonna start upgrading your X15 alot.You will get addicted all over again! Check out the vid i took of him being held up by a crf 150r at a race we attended.
My bro is riding an X18 being held up by the motard. He's in all black the bike with white on the tail section.

i've definately sunk in more than i paid for either bike in upgrades and goodies. it's just plain addictive. nitrous is next.

I learned not to ride the streets early in my career, so i am really hoping to find some good people to go tear up the parking lots with.

I know there's a track about 3 hours south of me, but they only allow pocket bikes. i'm 6'2 and 250 lbs, so i need to cut weight before i go dump a bunch of cash on a blata/polini to race there, but i imagine it would be a blast!

Oh yeah i'm gonna have you all setup with people to race with. A bunch of great guys that really know their stuff too. I think moroso motorsport track is gonna start lettting the shifter and pocketbikes run there again.

Also theres race that should be coming up in march or april in Dublin Ga.That my buddy and a few other guys are coming up for.By then you will have met everybody and got in some runtime.So if you should decide to go,they will have no problems with you riding along with them.

My buddy Herbert was worried about not having to meet anybody down there to race/practice with.So he was gonna check the craiglists find people that were trying to sell their bikes.Then try and talk them into keeping them and form a group to go race.

Well I just got back into riding pocketbikes. Just bought a new engine have it all setup on my cag. But I wanted to see if there is still anyone in the Tampa area that are interested in getting together on like Saturdays and riding in a vacant parking lot or garage.

I realize this topic is old but I would rather just use this topic rather than make a new one.

To swheels, let me know what part of Florida your buddy is gonna be moving to. I`m in The Tampa bay Area and need places to ride at and some people to ride with. I`m like willibe I`d much rather ride in a parking lot or some other place. I will not ride in the streets. I have a motor cycle indorsement and I do not have a street bike any more. Hey Tom,

I live in Holiday as well. Is that X8 a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke? as far as parts go, there is Faulkner Motorsports at 54 and 19, but the owner is a total jerk and the parts aren't that cheap. There is also 'scooterpartsdepot' in St. Pete, but it is cheaper to order from them online than to drive there. I get all of my parts off of different websites.

What's broken on the X8?
