I've been wiring up the brushless 1800w conversion with a generic lithium pack and everything seems to be working fine as far as bench testing. What fuse size should I put in place with this setup? The battery pack is the blue eBay special (14aH capacity with a claimed 30 amp continuous discharge rating). Thanks!

You need at least 30 amps with 1800watts so you need a 30 amp fuse

Actually... Follow up question. The fuse I have in place is a standard ATC blade fuse rated at 30amps for 12v use. I need a totally different fuse system for this, don't I?

No I would start with a 30 then if it blows often go with a 35

I completely ditched the inline fuse and rely on the BMS for amp cut out... Which I haven't met yet even shunt modding my 48v 1800w vevor kit and putting the 48v lithium ion to it hauling my 180lbs
