Hi guys.

So I got my pocket bike to run without stalling at idle. However now the gears are acting kinda strange. I can shift the gears but When I get it to neutral it still moves... Like the bike indication says 0 but it is in gear. how do I fix this? Also, I noticed that in 1st gear as i accelerate I don't have much power. Seems like the bike is running rich or something. Anything suggestions?

Where is 1st supposed to be all the way up or down or I between 1st and second the gear indicators kinda suck I had that problem as well its mor than likely not in neutral try going to first with you hand and slowly pulling it up in-between gears to find neutral as for the drivability issue is it fine in the rest of the gears and how does the plug look is it black

The plug looks good. Not sure what you mean by alll the way up or down? I got new choke cable today and I will put it in today. anyone has a clue on how to install it?

These bikes shift patterns are all different typically it would be 1up 2nd down 3rd down 4th down so neutral is between 1st and 2nd so try using your hand to get it in neutral cuz the control for the shift indicator messes up easily

Don't have any idea on the choke cq or for the stock carb I tossed all my stock carbs on all my bikes

how do i make a post... i have this dirtbike and i need to know what cc it is and what kinda bike it is somone help me out :p
you need so many posts I think 10-20 can't Remember before you can start a thread

My X18 4 speed manual is the same junk, hard to get it out of 1st back to neutral, it either doesn't go or ends up in 2nd and you have to push back down to neutral.
So if its running w/ the clutch in in first, I click it up to 2nd a back down, or stop the engine and click it to neutral.

That's why I love the motor in my 18 with the linkage it was all down but with just the shifter its now all up with neutral all the way down they should all be like that imo

I have been looking at taking the shifting rod and all that stuff and try putting one of my new billet shifters on backwards facing back, which would make 1st up and 2,3 & 4th down. I run wide open and then just brake to a stop and turn around and go back 3.5 miles. Rather press down to shift up, like some of the other engines.
