Modded 3 shoe clutches are my favorite. Had no luck with the racing clutches w/ no keyway. On the springs, I take small screwdriver get the spring in the eyelet of the clutch arm. Then the other end the screwdriver goes over in the hook over the clutch bolt, and stretch it or the pin till in snaps in place. Might need to hold the engine from turning the clutch.
On your clutches, loosen the nuts, take them off, the spring will be loose once you back it off.
so can i get 3 shoe ones for mine? and what do you think about the cut away?idear as it will make it lighter and also stop the rubing\? and okay so a good all scrue driver will do the job haha and i got 2 clutch drums and 2 k&n air fillters for £40 thats not bad hay and one clutch as well and 1 drive shaft with 10 tooth sproket bargin!! any other idears about my carb epr as i msged bk to your last one?
You might fit a C1 3 shoes clutch, that's what I have on my 39cc Polini Rep engine, and it's fits an 80mm bell. the Cags have 78mm bells, I believe. You might need to grind the edges on the clutch base for it to clear.
Not sure how big your tapered shaft is on the crank. Tsun in Canada would know. Ask for Jay.
the eage is 11mm till the end and 1mm thick and i have a 84mm drum and well ill use a dremal tool to take the ege off but i really wont to do my idear of the cuting the clutch plate as it will look sweet and be a lot lighter dont you think
i found a pick of what i wont to do with mine and this is it and its like £150.00

You have a cag 2 shoe perf clutch which has a smaller center hole than the GP3 repe engine.........You need a better quality clutch anyway of youll always be fiddling with kit..................

Not to mention the cag clutch is way smaller than the GP# rep clutch and will throwout at a ridiculous rpm.......

well both them clutches i have are 1.1mm smaller than my clutch drum and thats standerd 84mm i think its the same and when i had the bike runing good the clutch wos all most instent and worked grate i blitsed the bike about for 40 mins and no sine of any where or tear on it but i did wont to sort the grinding from the black plate on the drum

You have to get it set deeper onto the cranksnout.......How are you setting your clutches on the crank?.
just slide it on and do up the nut thats all i mean i know the problam its that the crank shaft is made to not let the clutch drum go back anymore because of the lip on the shaft how ever when i pute the clutch on the lip that stops that going back dues but dus nuthing to stop the clutch drum come forword and grind on the back of the clutch plate get what i mean? look at the gp3 scamatic here >>> http://gp3reps.files.wordpress.com/2007/01/polinireversemotorexplocionkz9.jpg and ull see what i mean i think its the clutch drum on the inside its not the back plate its self but more the eage when i took the clutch out it wos shiny arawnd the eage about 0.5mm and on the inside of the drum the same but in the grove all the way round get what i mean as when the clutch shoes are in on the plate you can see 1mm of the clutch plate all round the out side i thort that the only thig sticking out should be the shoes am i right?

So, lets look at this again. Looks like its a non tapered shaft & the clutch. If you want to move it in farther, Countersink the hole on the back side of the clutch, till it clears the bell. Or a drill in the back, the size of the cranks shaft. Had to do that to my starter paw on my 49cc Zenoah scooter eng when I puledl the electric starter off and it was sticking out too far.
okay so i took a pic of the crank sharft and the drum next to it in place of where it would be on the crank sharft and the clutch what i mean is when the bike goes the clutch drum comes forword and hits the back of the clutch why is the drum so free moveing dont forget its a reverse engine

and heres some pics of my clutch that i just modded to make it lighter and also fit the drum with out rubing what do you think

what do you guys think?
That rep crank is missing the tapered part of the crank for the clutch to fit right and fit tight..............get the right clutch.............

Does the BZM crank have a tapered end like the cag crank does in the pic I posted?
no when i calld up mini moto raceing uk who are like the bisgist guys who do it and also polini and thay bouth said the bzm crank is one of the best the gold raceing crank so i got it off mini moto raceing uk and thay fited it to my engine and sent it back

Ok so now what Im saying is you need to get the correct clutch............

These clutch snouts dont have a tepered center but theyre costly....I think yong may have one or two left.........

You have a better chance fitting this clutch in your bike..........
