Never thought I would be into these little things but they are pretty fun!! I recently traded an old surfboard I had laying around for a cateye. Bike was in ok shape nothing to really look at. Brought it home and had to order new calipers front and rear, brake cables, pull start, and throttle grip. In the mean time I found out it had an electric start so like any guy I investigated and proceeded to jump start the bike with my truck and a set of jumper cables....woo hoo it worked!! So now I'm trying to get all the wiring figured out and get a new battery. I have repainted it key line green with satin black accents. Gotta order new headlight and tail light housings but after that this thing will be in tiptop shape!

Anyway super fun to ride and the kids love it too!!

Not sure how to post pics but when I figure it out I'll get some up.

Welcome to the addiction.......:D......start a photobucket account and post the pics through there............

for the wiring you can unwrap the harness,,clip out the starter and charging system and remake them into two seperate harnesses pretty simple then you can refine the lighting if desired and make a third harness........Good luck and happy riding
I wanna try and keep as stock as I can as far as the electric goes. All the connections are marked as to what they are so it should be easy to trace put what wire goes where. First step is to get a battery.
