I found a bike in a dumpster at a recycling center. I’ve never had a mini bike so I’m not even sure how to describe it. Engine is obviously a 2-cycle, and has a Blue Bird Industries sticker - manufactured in Zane, Italy (?). Bike was missing throttle cable so I picked up a cheapo on Amazon. Engine will start up with spray but won’t run on its own so I need to clean out carb and try again. Compression feels weak but I’m not familiar with this engine so it might be fine. Questions for group:
1. Any idea of the correct oil gas ratio?
2. What’s the best way to get throttle cable connected to this linkage? A picture of similar setup would be awesome.
3. Is this thing going to go 5mph or 50mph once it’s running?
4. Looks like there’s a wire running through an inline fuse to a red button next to brake lever. What is that button?
